We absolutely love Prescott Valley Yavapai Oral & facial surgery! Both our girls have had their wisdom teethe taken out here and they are extremely kind, efficient, clean and compassionate. They made a not so fun experience, incredibly easy! Thank you so much for everything.

I had to give one star just to get the review process started. I was happy with Dr Sorenson and the staff until he literally ripped 6 teeth out of my mouth in about 7 minutes flat!!! He was very rough and even though I kept telling him it hurt, he only squirted some anesthetic on my gums and then never stopped extracting my teeth once he started. It's obvious he's overworked and rushed but this was a horrible experience for me!!! I'd had 8 teeth pulled at once awhile back so I'm not inexperienced with this. If I had it to do over I would have gone elsewhere!! Horrible and definitely would not recommend!!

I would like to share my experience, I had my wisdom teeth removed , not gonna lie I was scared and crying to but once the nurse came in with such a loving heart and guidance I felt comfortable she even played music for me!!! She held my hand when they put the IV and next thing I was knocked and talked to my husband after my procedure. Thank you again for such a skilled dentist and your staff

I have never been at ease with any kind of dental procedure. Going to Dr.Sorenson was a pleasure. I had five molars removed and I opted for laughing gas aka nitros and it was amazing. Never even felt the Novocain injections. He and his staff are caring and did everything to make this surgery not so fearful. I would highly recommend them. Maureen Saenz

The treatment was good, billing was awful. I was offered a 10% discount if I paid in cash at the consultation, confirmed the 10% discount over the phone when confirming the surgery. When we checked in again was offered the 10% discount when paying in cash. I received a bill for the amount that was extended as paid in cash savings. Spoke to the office and was told the amount I was presented was just a quote and the pay in full with cash savings is not extended to those with insurance. I explained how many times I was offered and confirmed the pay in cash discount but was told I still need to pay the discounted amount. Initially there was no amount expected to be paid by insurance. Insurance ended up paying $75. So not only did the get an additional payment from insurance the are also taking back the pay in cash discount and requiring that to be paid back. Truly dishonest.

I went in for wisdom removal and am less than satisfied with the process. At my consult, I felt I could not ask questions because Dr. Sorensen seemed rushed, like he wanted to get through the breakdown of the procedure and out of the room. He also had no knowledge of my file, anything about me, or that my surgery had been previously scheduled. The day of the procedure, I as the patient was not given any information about my care previous to going under. As an adult patient who was mostly caring for myself after this, information should be given directly to me previous to the procedure, not the friend or whoever is driving. My procedure was done on a Thursday and I was given no contact information should I have needed to contact the doctor for emergencies over the weekend. This office does not make their patients a priority, even new ones like myself. I will not be returning to this office for future needs nor will I be recommending it to other people.

I have good experiences at Yavapai Oral & Facial Surgery. They are prompt when I go in for appointments. The staff is professional and friendly. Dr. Sorenson is caring and patient when I have questions.

They did a stellar job taking my son's wisdom teeth out. I was called after the surgery to see how my son was doing. They were gentle and thorough. I appreciated their friendly and professional candor. All in all, I whole heartedly recommend them.

Going here was very good. The people were kind, fast, and careful. Through it all (getting my wisdom teeth removed), it was not very painful. I would recommend going there.

My daughter had her wisdoms out by Dr. Soenson and in the same month, I got implants from somewhere else. Let me tell you, I was more prepared for my surgery BECAUSE of Dr. Sorenson and his staff! They are VERY informative and detailed in what they plan to do so that both daughter and I were not scared. I will be going to him for my bottom teeth implants FOR SURE! Love this office, the staff and their detail to everything. Thank you for looking after my baby girl!

I would like to say that I felt so blessed to have met a person so confident and so competent. I was very nervous about my experience having to have my wisdom tooth that was impacted removed and Dr. Sorensen said to me you can be confident you're in good hands. Automatically I believed him and it was so true. He is a professional , I was never in any pain and if I ever have the need to return to an oral surgeon I certainly will request him.. Thank you Dr. Sorensen for all that you've done for me sincerely Helene Whyte.

I have always had a wonderful experience with Dr. Rethman this was his office prior to his retirement. I went here opting for 2 implants and payed upfront for the guide for my implants! I went home and was uneasy about proceeding due to having an upper sinus lift that made me very uneasy! So I waited a about a week and called them and asked Donna if the guide had been made? She said NO and so then I asked them to put a stop to the procedure and that I wanted to postpone until I spoke with my general dentist. Donna advises me that this would not be a problem and that she would notate the account and put everything on hold. I paid $500.00 upfront! So I waited for a while then received a call back from the secretary who has been very kind, and she asked if I wanted to schedule another counsel to speak about the implants? I said no and she asked ok would you like a refund then? I said YES! The secretary said she will speak with DR. Sorenson. They never called me back finally 2 months later I called them back and they tell me that DR. SORENSON said he will not refund me, and that they already printed the guide. Which while I was in the office they advised me it takes time to print the guide and when I called the first time Donna told me it was not printed. Unfortunately this office is not making things right with the customers and have decided to keep my $500. without even calling me back or any explaination. THIS IS A VERY UNETHICAL practice, and I am very disappointed with this office. That's a lot of money and I did do my part by contacting them right away, not expecting a refund from the beginning, but was advised that I would get one because the guide was not printed yet. Be CAUTIOUS WHEN PAYING THEM upfront. And don't change your mind they won't refund!!!
