While in dental school, Dr. Yanosky received numerous awards including the Deans Medal, the schools highest honor. Dr. Yanosky has lectured nationally and internationally on several different topics in orthodontics and serves as an adjunct assistant professor of orthodontics at the University of Alabama, Birmingham School of Dentistry. The preparation involved in lecturing and teaching helps him be a better orthodontist and to provide the most advanced and efficient treatments for his patients.

Our average treatment time is one to three years, depending on the growth of the patient and the severity of the initial problem. Because each person, and each mouth, is different and responds differently to treatment, initial estimates arent always accurate, but well keep you consistently updated.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends beginning orthodontist visits around age seven; by that age, most children have a mix of adult and baby teeth, and often the orthodontist can diagnose and correct tooth and jaw problems early and without surgery. Our patients dont pay for treatment until they actually get braces, so theres no downside to bringing your children in when theyre younger.

Best orthodontic staff in Birmingham! I changed my orthodontist to Yanosky Orthodontics a few years ago and have stayed with them for a number of reasons. With each visit, the staff has been very friendly and great at their job as well as making me very comfortable. Also, I have had an easy experience with making appointments around my schedule and am usually seated quickly after arriving. Dr. Yanosky does a great job himself at giving patients plenty of attention and talking through what he is doing and why. He and his staff are very experienced and knowledgeable in the field and turn what should be a stressful experience for a patient into an easy time.

I have had the best experience with Dr. Yanosky doing my Invisalign treatment. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the process and let me know why Invisalign was a good option for me. I went to another orthodontist for braces when I was younger, but my experience with Dr. Yanosky has blown my previous experience out of the water! His staff is also wonderful and prioritize your comfort at every turn. I was nervous about starting Invisalign as an adult, but Dr. Yanosky and his staff made my treatment enjoyable. I highly recommend Dr. Yanosky!

As an adult, this was the third me for me to have braces in my lifetime - due to poor habits I previously kept.
