The offices at Yampa Valley Family Dentistry are warm and welcoming. Enjoy our 200 gallon salt water aquarium in our waiting area, where you wont need to wait long because we strive to stay on schedule. Our practice features state-of-the-art equipment, including digital impression scanners, 3D X-rays, all of which combine to create digitally designed surgical guides for implant placement. Dr. Shockley and the team also offers cutting-edge orthodontic treatment using ClearCorrect, a series of see-through, nearly invisible oral aligners to straighten your teeth.

My name is Debbie Cook. I grew up in Craig and in 1979 graduated from CNCC with a degree in Dental Hygiene. My first5 years in DHI spent working in a large dental clinic with many Dentists and Dental Hygienists. I also worked for several Dentists in Craig and was a Clinical Instructor for CNCC. I have gone to many classes and seminars concerning all aspects of Dentistry. I am coming up on my 26 year anniversary working for Dr. Fenton. I havetruly enjoyed my career. It has been a wonderful profession. My husband is a Rancher and we have been married 28 years we have twin daughters that are 26. When not cleaning teeth or working on the ranch I enjoy traveling, sports, reading, playing board games, and am involved in my Church.

Cheryl Ivy enjoys the team atmospheredentistry offers and the amazing staff shegets to work with. She received her Dental Assisting Certificate from Mesa College in 1985 and practiced chair side assisting for three years in Rangely, Colorado. While living in Rangely, she decided to take advantage of the Dental Hygiene Program at Colorado Northwestern Community College and completed her degree in 1991. After moving to Craig in 1994 with her husband Preston and two boys Billy and Brian, she started working part-time for various dentists in Craig and Steamboat until she began a permanent position at Dr. Fentons in 1999. She was active with the Northwest Dental Coalition for many years and taught dental educationat variousschools in Moffat and Routt County as needed during Childrens Dental Health month every February. She considers her patients to be her friends and truly cares not only about their dental health but overall health and well being. Outside the office she enjoys other activities including: walking, volleyball, golf, camping, reading, playing with grandkids, cooking nice meals for her family and serving her Lord Jesus Christ.

Lyndi Smithis aDental Hygienistin Dr. Neal Fentons office. She started full time May2014. Shereceived herDental Hygiene degree formColorado Northwestern Community College in Rangely Colorado. She graduated from CNCC in 2003 andhas worked in Steamboat and Craigover thepast 12 years.She has lived in Craig since 1987.Married her adoring husband Opie Smith in 2012. She has been involved in many volunteer positions in the community also as a child was in girl scouts and 4-H. She stays busy on her days off helping with church activities. Lyndis family lives in Craig also, she hasa youngerbrother and sister. Lyndi loves spending time with family and friends

Becky and Jen are a crucial part of our staff as they assist Dr. Shockley and are actively involved chairside during your dental procedures and take charge in ensuring the cleanliness of our dental instruments and exam rooms. They strive to make each one of our patients feel comfortable with their dental experience. Whether this is a patients first procedure or they have been in the dental chair before Becky and Jen make the experience better for everyone.
