Dr. Mana Saraghi believes that pain and anxiety have no place in modern dental care! As a board-certified dentist anesthesiologist, she has attained the highest level of training and certification in her specialty.
Dr Saraghi was born and raised in New York. She graduated summa cum laude from New York University with a major in Biology in the Presidential Honors Program. Dr. Saraghi then moved to Philadelphia and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. UPenn provided not only rigorous training in clinical dentistry but also a foundation in medicine.
Dr. Saraghi realized that many patients would benefit from sedation or anesthesia for the provision of their dental care in the dental office. Thus, she completed a dental anesthesiology residency at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi Medical Center in affiliation with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In this program, she was not only trained to provide sedation and anesthesia for dental and oral and maxillofacial surgery, but was also an anesthesia provider for a full spectrum of medical surgical procedures, including trauma surgery, general surgery, plastic surgery, ear-nose-throat surgery, neurosurgery, and orthopedic surgery, as well as provider for patients of all ages and levels of medical complexity.
After graduating from her residency, Dr. Saraghi worked as a dentist anesthesiologist in dental offices and surgery centers, providing comprehensive anesthesia care for dental patients of all ages, including patients with special needs. As of 2016, Dr. Saraghi was appointed to the role of residency program director at Jacobi Medical Center, where she strives to train future dentist anesthesiologists. Her areas of clinical interest include providing anesthesia for craniofacial and orthognathic (jaw surgery) patients.
Dr. Saraghi is often invited to speak at dental continuing education events and considers it a privilege to share her knowledge of sedation, pharmacology, local anesthetics, and medical emergency management with her colleagues. Her research interests including novel local anesthetic delivery systems, as Dr. Saraghi was an investigator in the clinical trials for Kovanaze, a needle-free dental local anesthetic.
Dr. Saraghi is also on the Board of Directors for the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, a site visitor for the Commission on Dental Accreditation, and a Commissioner on the American Dental Associations Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition.

I began my dental career in 1998, attending Bucks County Technical Colleges dental assisting program, and have 16 years of hands-on experience. Joining Yalda Dental in 2020 as the office manager, I am responsible for overseeing the entire office, managing the employees, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly for our patients. I enjoy interacting with patients on a daily basis and hope to make their experience at Yalda Dental truly exceptional.
I have two children, Jourdon and Aidan, as well as my fianc, Stephen. We enjoy vacationing to new beaches with the family, dining out in center city, and spending quality time with each other as a family.
I completed my Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene and am certified as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Before dental hygiene, I worked as a dental assistant for three years. I really enjoy that dental hygiene offers me the chance to build rapport with my patients over a long period of time. My goal is to make my patients as comfortable as possible; I love seeing them walk out happy and satisfied!
