Hello, my name is Dr. Jouriy Grkikian, and I would like to welcome you to Y2K Dentistry. I know you have a variety of choices for your dental care. I would like to ask that you considerjoining our family and let us provide your dental care just like we would if you were an actual family member.
While at the USC (University of Southern California School of Dentistry) I decided my practice would be different. It would be builton the principle of'family'dental care. As such I have assembled the most talented, friendly staff available.When you visit uswe 'll
take care of you just like ourfamily. This is very important in making you feel comfortable and relaxed. I know a trip to the dentist is preloaded with angst andour goal to remove as much of that as possible.
So who am I? Well, I am the Husband to my lovely wife Anna, father to a beautiful daughter and a bright son, who is part of our team and will be following in my footsteps when he begins his studies in dentistry. As for my professional credits I have practiced dentistry on two continents and have had a dental practice in the San Fernando Valley since 1994, prior to that I proudly operated a dental clinic in Armenia.

Our patients are always greeted by beautiful Marina who has been part ofour family forover 20 years. She brings with her an immense amount of knowledge and experience. Her sole purpose in our office is to make sure your visit meets your expectations. Marina is anxiously waiting to assist you , helping you with your insurance and billing problems and in making any financial arrangements necessary.
Every day George brings with a bright smile and an easy going style to Y2K. He will make you feel so comfortable you might just fall asleep right in the exam chair! George believes in our commitment to outstanding patient service which extends beyond office visits and into your home. As part of our aftercare Team George will show you how to take better care of your teeth after your visit.
Ando joined our team in 2016 and was in dental industry for over a decade. Being a helpful person, Ando is always willing to help out our team where there is a need. He says that he loves the family atmosphere in our practice and the please of working with coworker.
Lusine joined our team in 2017and was in dental industry for over a 2 years. Being a helpful person, Lusineis always willing to help out our team where she'sneeded. She statesthat she loves the family atmosphere in our practice.
Adelinais the newest addition to the team. She has been working in the medical field for adecade. Adelina assists in all aspects of ouroffice, including administrative responsibilities and patient care. Adelinawill always greet you with a smile and welcome you to our practice.

Best Dentist i have been too, Super friendly staff. I have been coming here since 2012 and i won't go anywhere else. Its not close to where i live but again the service, honesty, cleanliness and smiles is worth the drive. Thank you Dr. Grkikian, George, Suri and Marina.

Great dental office in Sherman oaks. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about your oral health. The doctor is very easy to talk to and answers every question you may have concerning your oral care. I also love the fact that they work with your schedule. I highly recommend this dental office.

Bweare! Beware! Beware! Very bad clinic and very dishonest people. I went there for a root canal and crown and paid them 1450$. The treatment was a suffer all the way. Starting with x ray tech who did the x ray over and over and over again, until she finally got it. Proceed with a doctor that jumps from patient to patient during your appointment leaving you waiting with open mouth and anesthesia that gradually wears off. All the way ignoring your concerns and questions. Of course he will try to sell you mouth guard and stuff im not sure i needed. Anyway, it took them 3 weeks and 3 appointments to get my crown to sit right (it looks ugly and feels weird, but anyway) so expect spending a long period of time with temporary filling on a root canal. Right after the treatment i told them that i still feel the pain from this tooth. They said its a scar and it will heal. 3 weeks later, still hurts, still the same answer, its a scar. I went to another doctor, this time a qualified endodontist. He found out that Dr grkikian failed to remove all of the nerve, resulting in pain and infection. Only thing to do now is a new root canal and new crown. This is when i got to see Dr grkikian's true face. At first, he offered me to do it again, which I refused obviously. No way this guy is treating me again. I told him i want a refund, with which i will pay for the same treatment in a different clinic. Listen to his amazing answers: 1. I can still feel the pain 2 years after the treatment: "its a scar, sometimes it heals and sometime not". His words. 2. Theres a nerve still there, you failed to remove : "everyone has a different anatomy". So why do we have x ray?? 3. This is really something that blew my mind: "i am not responsible for a failed root canal" - "are you saying you're not responsible for your own work?" Amazingly enough, the answer was "yes". Anyway, he got the clinic manager and said he's going to refund my money. The guy came out with a document for me to sign and the refund amount was 550$. I asked why it wasn't what i paid, 1450$. He said that theres nothing wrong with the crown, deliberately ignoring the fact that a new root canal requires also a new crown. I told him that but you know how hard it is for people to pay money... So i decided that if this the way they address my problem i will not just accept it. What im going to do is post a review on every review site that i can. If i can help someone save himself from this clinic, im good. Plus, i will take my money through his insurance. If he thinks that he did good, there's nothing he should be afraid of. Do yourself a favor and go to a different clinic. You will save time, money and pain.
