Brenda has been a clinical dental hygienist for 32 consecutive years. She brought her professionalism and experience to SWVA in 2009 and has provided our patients at this location, a high standard of quality care since March 2010. Brenda enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level, building mutual trust and establishing assurance that she plays an integral role for each of her patients to obtain and maintain their optimal level of dental health.
When Brenda is not involved with her dental life, she enjoys experiencing her journey with her husband, partner and best friend Marty, while listening to music, attending small venue concerts and spending time with her horses and dog, Axel. One of her daily goals is taking the opportunity to capture Gods Beautiful World on film while exploring these amazing hills of Southwest Virginia.
Haley is our newest hygienist and a recent graduate of the WCC dental hygiene program. She was born, raised and currently resides in Richlands VA. Her main focus is to help provide her patients with the upmost quality care and providing them with the knowledge to keep their teeth in pristine condition once they leave her chair. When she is not in the office perfecting smiles you can find her with her dog Yeti and spending time with her boyfriend Morgan. She enjoys listening to podcasts, shopping, and being with friends.
Jessica joined our team with over 11 years of dental hygiene experience. Jessica graduated from Wytheville Community College in 2010. Jessica is a native to Wytheville VA and still resides here with her husband Eric and their daughter Cora Pearl. You will find that she is compassionate and able to put her patients at ease to help ensure a positive dental experience. She has a contagious laugh and enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level. When Jessica is not in the office or traveling you can find her on the family farm, enjoying gardening, and caring for her farm animals.
Santana joins us as a recent graduate of VHCC dental assistant program. Her chairside skills and enthusiastic personality are a great gain for our office. When Santana is away from the office, she can be found spending time with her friends, shopping and enjoying the outdoors with her husband Chandler and their great dane Cooper.
Rachel brings 21 years of experience in multiple areas of dentistry. Rachels friendly and bubbly personality help make our patients experience welcoming and comfortable. Originally from Ft. Lauderdale Florida, Rachels three sons keep life exciting. When Rachel is away from the office, she can be found enjoying the beautiful outdoors, hiking or listening to music.
Abigail joined the dental field in 2014 as a Dental Lab Technician and then Dental Assistant. Abigail resides in Vinton, VA and is originally from Mexico. She is fluent in Spanish and English. Abigail has a positive attitude and always goes the extra mile for her patients. When she is not working, she enjoys being with her family, the outdoors, and just being active.
Tina joined our dental family in April 2021, bringing with her over 40 years of dental experience. She has worked as a chair side assistant and office manager. When Tina is out of the office, she can be found enjoying life with her husband Mike. They have one son, a daughter-in-law and two precious grandchildren.
Kristin joins our team with over 10 years of experience. She has worked both as a chair side assistant and as an administrative assistant. Having worked from both aspects in the dental field, this gives her the ability to help our patients with any form of care they may need. When she is not at the office helping patients achieve their best smile she can be found enjoying life with her two children Mason and Marley

Wow, The dentist in this place are exceptional. However, the staff was incredibly rude. Especially the person I think it's name is "Tina" ... I can't think of a time that I have been treated so rude. I work in a job that is very difficult to get days off so to get the treatment I need I have to basically go on FMLA to get the days off for treatment(s). I asked this office on multiple occasions to fill out some simple paperwork that would allow me to come in for treatment. However, the FMLA gatekeeper was basically denying me that saying that they don't extend FMLA for dental appointments as I would have 20+ throughout the year which called for me having to go this route. So, I called the dentist office today and left a voicemail. Shortly after lunch his cave troll called me and basically and in the most unprofessional way I've EVER been spoken too said "Do you not think we're smart enough to fill out some paper work" ... I responded with "I'm sorry, are you being serious" she continued on by saying "We don't do FMLA for dental work like fillings, etc" I said I would be in the office multiple times throughout the year with other issues such as crowns and bridges and etc. "She dug back in saying 'again, we don't do that, do you think we're not smart enough to use a fax machine' or send and email" ... at this point I just said, you know what bi*ch I'll take my business elsewhere. To which she had the aduacity out to say "I don't care about your 2k in dental work" to which I reminded her it would be more like "10k" and I which she responded "again, I don't care it isn't my money" I honestly hope your bosses read this and please Dr. Settles I have this call recorded and would love for you to listen to it. It was absolutely absurd. No wonder you keep this troll in the back surrounded by papers where she can't be seen. What an absolute miserable person.

Amazing experience! I had been in pain for weeks dreading the dentist. The friendly staff eased my anxiety and the excellent care I received changed my mind about dental care! I will most definitely continue my care there and will recommend to anyone wanting quality dental care without the anxiety and dread.

Dr. Miller is the best dentist I've ever used. He's not only very capable, he explains what and why he's doing it. He's funny yet professional, interactive but fast and has done a great job on fillings, crowns and bridges for me. I highly recommend him and his staff.

The people here are wonderful! I absolutely terrified of dentists but they have helped me so much!! They were so nice, nonjudgmental & compassionate. I was on the verge of just getting all my teeth pulled but instead I got an app with Wytheville Dental group and they saved my teeth!!!! Definitely deserves more than 5 stars!!!

Just went In for an appointment my husband and I made. We was told that we didn't confirm so they took us off...seriously she said she sent text message and called but never left a message. Where we live on no phone service or internet...I'm completely in awww..if she would have left a message I would have gotten it when I came to town. That is the worst policy I have ever heard..to cancel an appointment that I made myself and my husband took off work to make it too. I would have called to cancel it myself seeing as I made the damn appointment!! We will never go back! Absolutely ridiculous

Very nice friendly atmosphere. Doctor was great nurses receptionist. Called for husband in pain needed tooth extracted took him right in 30 minutes later from calling. Would recommend. Very pleased with everything.

So friendly! 1st time I went was about 6 months ago and they recommended the water pik for my sensitive gums. And I bought it that day. It's worked great! Had a cleaning today. Actually can't wait to go back.

One of the very best experiences I have ever had with a dental office. From the phone call to set up the appointment to the office visit check out, the staff was very professional, kind, and caring. Dr. Davenport was super cool, and laid back. He was very empathetic of my dental need and made a point to Work me into his busy schedule. Dr Davenport was very gentle and extremely careful While performing oral procedures. In fact this visit was one of the most painless experiences I've ever had as a dental office. I would highly recommend this office to anyone!! And I will be going back long term to this dental group!

The entire staff here is amazing. I made them aware that I was terrified of dentists but needed tooth care and repair. They walked me through everything. Dr. Miller did an amazing job repairing a tooth I thought I would lose for sure. I made it through without ever panicking due to the amazing staff and honestly never felt any pain whatsoever! I'm attaching a before and after as reference to how well he did the work. 10 of 10 I reccomend!
