Cosmetic dentist David D. Wyse grew up in Bloomington, Illinois and graduated from University High School. He attended the University of Florida, majoring in Microbiology prior to receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois.
Dr. David loves being a dentist. Having the ability to improve the health and well-being of his patients as well as the opportunity to develop relationships with them is his favorite part of the job. Dr. David also loves being a part of a practice in which only the best materials are used and the newest technologies are employed for the benefit of the patient.
To ensure his objective of providing his patients with the highest quality dentistry available, Dr. David attends continuing education courses exceeding the requirements of his state licensure board. He is a member of the local, state, and national dental societies.Dr. David has served as a team dentist for the local professional hockey team and currently serves as a board member for a local social service agency.
Cosmetic dentist Jay W. Chrisman is a Bloomington native and the third generation of Chrisman dentists in Bloomington, Illinois. He is a graduate of Bloomington High School, Lake Forest College, and the University of Illinois School of Dentistry. Following graduation, he served a tour of duty as a dental officer in the United States Navy and returned to Bloomington in 1976 to open a new dental office with his father, Robert A. Chrisman.
Dr. Jay loves his job! He loves it when patients tell him, 'This is the first time that I 've been to the dentist that I didn 't feel anything.' And he especially enjoys turning ordinary smiles or less-than-ordinary smiles into beautiful smiles. Dr. Jay loves making people happy with their smiles, and this is the primary reason he wanted to excel in the art of cosmetic dentistry. Having completed a difficult training program, he is now very proud to say he is one of less than 250 dentists in the world to have earned accreditation status from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. This dedication to excellence has made Dr. Jay a popular cosmetic dentist among residents of Bloomington, Peoria, Champaign, and other communities in Illinois.
Dr. Jay is married and has three children. He is a sports enthusiast and is very active in the community, having served on the boards of The Children's Foundation, Second Presbyterian Church, and Bloomington-Normal Cursillo. He is a member of the local, state, and national dental societies.

Dr. Jay Chrisman has been my dentist for many years and was kind enough to squeeze me in between patients today because of a gum issue I'm experiencing during my post COVID recovery. Even though I still have the issue, I felt better getting his prompt treatment advice.

After the zoom whitening, the impressions were sent off to get my crowns ordered for my two dental implants to finally be completed! It took about 3 weeks and I went on Thursday for the final step. I am amazed at how well the color matches & I walked out of Dr. Wyse's office able to show my teeth when I smile again for the first time in a year. I still have quite a few cavities to be taken care of and my next appointment is already scheduled. I have no doubt Dr. Wyse & staff are by far the best choice in dental care.

I've never been to such a caring dental establishment! Since the first time I came to Dr. Wyse's office I have felt at home. The staff is warm and welcoming and the dental work is exceptional. I have never felt so good about my smile before. I highly recommend this office for all your dental needs.
