I greet our patients with a warm smile when they arrive for their visit. I want them to feel comfortable while theyre here. I also want them to know that we are concerned about them as individuals and will do all we can to ensure that they have a positive experience while visiting us. I always have time for a quick chat with our established patients and love getting to know our new ones, too. In addition to welcoming our patients, I also handle the check-in and check-out, and am available to answer questions. In fact, all our team members are available to answer questions and respond to concerns that a patient might have: we believe its essential that someone we are caring for feels comfortable communicating with us.

Enjoy working with such a great group of people who are dedicated to helping our patients feel better about their appearance and health. Its a lot of fun to spend each day interacting and being social with such great people! Working from our front desk, I look forward to building great friendships with our patients and their families, and making sure that everybody who comes to our practice feels welcome and comfortable.

I have always enjoyed working with people, and here at our practice I not only work with our patients, but I help them feel better about their appearance while their oral and body health improves through treatment. Each patients needs are unique and we develop treatment strategies that work for their specific mouth. Throughout the course of treatment, while I provide care, I get to spend time with each patient and get to know them as a person. I love it that they come in with stories and jokes to tell; they can be so funny and full of life! The day that we take off their braces and the patient sees their beautiful new smile for the first time, thats the best day for me. I know that Ive helped to improve the life of someone who has become my friend and I am happy for them.

It is amazing that I get to interact with our patients each day. As our team develops their new smile, we get to know our patients, and we become friends with them. Its a great feeling to be providing gentle, effective treatment for people we genuinely care about. Knowing how important good oral health is, and seeing a patients self-esteem transform from shy to confident and outgoing, is very rewarding. I love it that we are able to bring about positive changes that will mean a healthier, happier life for our patients.

Our patients are, without a doubt, my favorite part of working here. They are all such amazing individuals with unique perspectives in life. I learn from each of them and were always talking and laughing during their visits. This is a very welcoming practice and thats reflected in our patients: they come in smiling and they leave smiling, because theyve had a good time while here. I like knowing Ive played a part in that. Some of my job duties include handling our patient records and working in the lab.

Every day, our patients make me laugh. Whether its a joke they just have to share, or a recounting of their latest adventure or misadventure, they often have me in stitches. I love working in such a happy atmosphere and spending my days surrounded by laughter and smiles. I also love the day that we take a patients braces off and they finally get to see their healthy, perfect new smile. I think a lot of our team gets a little bit teary-eyed, because we know that weve made a real, lasting difference in the patients life, and its an honor to be able to do that for someone we care about. My work involves a lot of patient care, but I also handle ordering our needed supplies, too.

I have been working with Dr. Wyman for the past six years and have been in the orthodontic field for 15 years. Its great to see the changes in confidence that our patients go through during their treatments. Its wonderful to see their new smiles, too! I love what I do and feel fortunate that I can say that I genuinely enjoy coming to work every day.

For most people, achieving a healthy, beautiful smile is the reason for receiving orthodontic care. If you're self-conscious about your smile, correcting your concerns with braces will greatly improve the way you look and feel.

When your treatment is complete, you will have the smile you've always dreamed of and the confidence to show it off! We also want you to feel comfortable and confident throughout your entire orthodontic experience, and our practice is dedicated to making sure that you receive the quality care you deserve.

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.

Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!

Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.
