Being from Kentucky, Im especially deep rooted when it comes to basketball and horses, but I believe over the years I have become a true Texan at heart, with the all the beauties of the state and especially the friendly people of San Antonio. I am a proud graduate of the University of Kentucky where I obtained my Bachelors of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree.
I furthered my education and completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. I have extensive training in IV and oral conscious sedation, implant dentistry, full mouth reconstruction, oral trauma triage and treatment, and removal of wisdom teeth. I practice with the intent of ceaselessly continuing my education personally, and striving to deliver the best possible, most cutting-edge technology that dentistry has to offer my patients when they sit in my chair.
I am on track to complete advanced courses for theSpear Institutefocusing on cosmetic dentistry, advancedCereceducation, and our practice maintains Premier Invisalign Provider status. I am certified to administer Botox and soft tissue laser therapy. Im an active member of The ADA, Texas Dental Association, andAmerican Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Our office also provides dental care to the sports teams of UTSA, St. Marys, and Trinity. I dont look at dentistry as a job; it is a life passion to help people with their smiles! Outside of my core passion for dentistry, I am dedicated to being a well-rounded practitioner. I enjoy traveling with my husband, sailing, being a novice student of the arts, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
I was born in Wichita, Kansas, but Ive called San Antonio home since 1977. I am married to my high school sweetheart Michele and wereparents to six great kids. My calendar stays packed with my kids activities, from soccer to guitar to being at our family ranch. With the little time I do have for myself, I enjoy fly fishing and snow skiing.
I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas (the TRUE birthplace of college basketball!). I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. I have completed extensive education in restorative dentistry (crowns, bridges, dentures, and fillings) at The Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida.
I have also completed advanced studies in dental implants,CEREC crowns(one day crowns), Invisalign, and traditional orthodontics. I have provided dental care and mouth guards for many high school, college, and professional athletes. Ive worked with UTSA, Trinity University, and many other college athletes during NCAA tournaments. I have also served as the team dentist the San Antonio Rampage Hockey Team and for the New Orleans Saints during their stay in San Antonio. I have taught in the Department of General Dentistry and in the Departments of Physical and Occupational Therapy at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the San Antonio District Dental Society where I have served on the board of directors. In our practice I am dedicated to providing our patients high-tech dental care, with a gentle touch.

I had a crown come loose one evening and went directly to Wurzbach Family Dental at 7:30 am the next morning. I was immediately seen, examined and the crown appropriately treated within 30 minutes. After over 2 years with Dr. Klenke, i can say he and the staff are amazing! I've never had any insurance problems and paid for a few things out of pocket, but the prices were very fair for the best work and caring staff. I feel he takes a conservative approach to care, instead of immediately talking you into a bunch of work all at once - you have options! He and Morghanne recommended something for me no other office ever had and I appreciate them for it! I also had a perm retainer that needed glued back in and they gave me the option of a new one or letting me put the old one back in, which is what I wanted - and they did a great job. Everyone in the office has been super friendly and happy during ever visit. They are also always on time and considerate of my time. I live 70 miles away and will continue to go to this office. I highly recommend WPFD!
