Wu Suet DDS

110 Lockwood Ave # 201, New Rochelle, NY 10801

Dr. Suet Wu grew up in Queens, New York. She received her bachelors degree in Child Development at Cornell University and then pursued her dental education at Columbia University. Because of Dr. Wus interest in health care for children and her desire to work with kids, she decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry and completed an additional two-years training program at Montefiore Medical Center which is affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Dr. Wu started her practice in Little Neck, New York. Since October of 2005, she moved into a newly designed dental office in Bayside. Dr. Wu believes in the importance of preventative oral care for children. Too often, children are not brought to the dental office until they have a dental emergency. By then, these children have already developed a fear of dentists. To alleviate this problem, parents are urged to bring their child to the dentist by the age of one.

Dr. Wu is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the International Congress of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Wu also belongs to the Honors Dental Society, Omicron Phi Upsilon.

Dr. Suet Wu provides pediatric dentistry serving infants, children and teens in Bayside, New Rochelle and Flushing, NY. 38-08 Bell Blvd. #7, Bayside NY 11361 - Ph: 718-281-2808 - Fax: 718-281-2898 13620 38th Ave #8H, Flushing, NY 11354 - Ph: 718-321-9288 - Fax: 718-886-7873 110 Lockwood Ave, New Rochelle NY 10801 - Ph: 914-636-3738 Copyright 2015 Dr. Suet Wu and Smile Savvy. Very Unpleasant Receptionist...The lack of unprofessionalism and the rudeness from front desk takes away from having a good experience for my child with the dentist... If a patient's first interaction with your practice is cold or impersonal, it will set the tone for the rest of the appointment. Whether in person or on the phone, the tone of a staff member's words can have a far more lasting impression than the words themselves. This office needs to either replace the girls or retrain.I know its sad to say some of the staff may need to be taught manners all over again. I don't think they truly understand where they work at or it's just a job for them and they just need a paycheck. It's hard on some of the parents bringing there child to the dentist. The child may already be uneasy and nervous as well as the parents. The last thing anyone wants to deal with is a miserable rude receptionist.

This office always seem to amaze me. As an experienced dental assistant, I trust this office with my first child. I always believed my daughter to have the worst behavior with all doctor appointments, but every visit she had with this office it always ended as a positive experience for BOTH OF US. I thought my daughter wouldn't even cooperate to sit still for today's visit, but to take an x-ray without our help! I'm very happy. Thank you so much to the assistants and doctors who always made my daughter's experience a positive one! We look forward to continuing our patient/doctor relationship with you!

Dr Amanda was the best in every she did. I loved the way she explained the tools that she was using in such away that my 6year old understood and was happy. I cried because I was so happy with every that Dr. Amanda did because it showed the love that Dr. Amanda had in her heart. Her gentle approach was priceless. Her team was also great and I will definitely bring my baby back

I've had such great experiences for the past few years my son had attended this dental office. However, my last two visits were NOT very pleasant because of one D.D.S A. D, She has no bedside manner what's so ever. Not only did she frighten my child to the point he almost past out in fear because she was yanking his tooth out with no remorse, she kept on telling him to stay still. If I hadn't been in the room with my child God knows what pain he would've went through. The more my child cried the more She worried about her time, or the next patient that was waiting. Today pushed me to the limit, my son this time needed a filling, I thought maybe she would be different, to my surprise she not only had the same attitude, but was rolling her eyes, as I tried again to console my son because of his anxiety from the last visit, made a joke for my son to help keep him calm. A.D unprofessionally snapped at me and said "You're Not Helping" with a very harsh and rude tone. I truly hope that other parents be aware of this individual who is not for the children neither the parent, to choose a different Dentist in that practice to care for their little loved ones.

My children saw Dr. park for a dental exam last week. I first saw the hygienist who was very knowledgeable and thorough. She spoke to me and my children all about the importance of brushing adequately and flossing. I never knew you can tell when you don't floss when they clean your teeth! Dr. Park was also very good and answered all my questions. I will definitely be coming back and sending my family members to this office.

I JUST CALLed the receptionist at this office and she was really really rude. She claimed that she cannot hear me as my call was breaking but the way she said it was truly rude. Her voice is so unfriendly and even imitated the way I sounded. So rude!!!

I was hesitant to write this review. . . however, I think it is important, so everyone knows what kind of office you are walking in to. First, I would like to say this review is based on my experience which occurred on a Friday morning. The waiting area was so busy, and our appointment time was not respected, we waited quite some time before we were seen. I was very upset with the way some staff members speak and spoke to my children it is extremely unprofessional and upsetting that this being a pediatric office they do not know how to speak to children or parents. The doctor who examined my children stepped in and out of the room, my only concern was that she may not be through enough because she spends so little time during her examination. I hope that in the future there are no missed cavities because this woman is rushing through appointments. For future reference if you have an appointment on a Friday don't bother making an appointment time and expecting to be out on time because it seems like they are overbooking patients and it is first come first serve there. At a previous visit a fellow mom mentioned this and now from my own experience I understand.
