At the Wright Dental Center, we offer fully digital X-ray technology. This means you get faster, more accurate results as well as an easier process than traditional film X-rays. Digital radiography also emits 80% less radiation than traditional x-rays. Our CBCT 3D Imaging technology also helps us better diagnose and treat all our patients, especially those looking for dental implants. The precise 3D capture of your teeth, jaw, gums, nerves and sinuses allows Dr. Wright and his team to ensure that your new implants will fit perfectly. And our commitment to digital dentistry goes beyond simply digitizing records. We also include CEREC same-day crowns and restorations that use digital impressions instead of the traditional goo of bite plates. Because the digital impressions can be sent straight into our computer software and high-tech milling machine, you can often get crowns and restorations in a single visit!
We understand that not every one of our patients feels great about being in the dentists chair. This is why, in addition to our welcoming atmosphere, we also provide sedation dentistry in all of our offices. Postponing dental care due to anxiety can cause a lot of harm down the line, and at the Wright Dental Center, we want you to get all the care you need! We offer oral sedation, nitrous oxide (commonly known as laughing gas) and intravenous (IV) sedation during dental procedures.
Dr. James Bo Wright III earned his undergraduate degree at Western Kentucky University and his Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the University of Louisville. He holds active memberships with the Kentucky Dental Association, Northern Kentucky Dental Society, American Dental Association, and DOCS Education.
In 2014, Dr. Wright realized his lifelong dream of owning his own practice by purchasing Dr. Dan Vogels practice. In 2016, he purchased his second dental practice, located in Anderson Township, Ohio. Forming long-term relationships with his patients is one of his favorite things about being a dentist. He also enjoys being able to give patients a smile they can be proud of.
Dr. Scott Jacobs joined the Wright Dental Center in October 2019. He attended the University of Kentucky for his undergraduate and graduate degrees, including a Master of Science degree in Public Health. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Jacobs practiced in Frankfort, Kentucky while his wife finished her orthodontics residency program. Dr. Jacobs also held a faculty position in the Endodontics department of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry during that time.
Dr. Jacobs is passionate about providing patients with excellent care and helping them feel good about how they look and eat. He spends most of his free time with his wife Alli and their newborn twins Amelia and Henry. Dr. Jacobs is also an avid bowhunter and fly fisher.
Dr. Vanessa Short was born and raised in Cincinnati, where she attended Colerain High School. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at the University of Cincinnati, then graduated from dental school at the Ohio State College of Dentistry. Dr. Shorts goal is to make the dental experience fun and help to relieve the dental anxiety that many patients have. Dr. Short is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and the Cincinnati Dental Society. Outside of dentistry, her passions include staying active, spending time with her Bernedoodle, and traveling with family and friends.

Always Pleasant professional people working there,, they take care of you right on time and are really thoughtful about your concerns,,and really really concentrate on your well-being as far as your dentistry and health concerns they are an awesome dentist, I would recommend them to anyone anytime. Always feel comfortable and my comfort and well-being is always first with Wright Dental I had implants and never had a issue with them.. not only do I have a great smile I can eat anything I want and never have to worry ever again about slippage or loose fitting dentures..

Friendly people and quick response time. Others weren't seeing new patients and they got me in immediately. Far less costly than what i expected based on other places and they offer plans for the uninsured, so my tooth extraction is essentially gonna come with some free cleanings and exams.

Dr. Wright and his staff are professional and friendly. My dental appointment was thorough and efficient. Everyone there makes me feel welcome and are all easy to work with. I travel from Butler county to northern Kentucky because I have found the dental services and care to be the best in the Tri-State area.

I am horrible at going to the dentist and I have a condition that makes it hard to move my neck so that makes it even more difficult. But they were great in accommodating me and my issues. I also had some funny issue going on with my front teeth and the dental hygienist got all of it off! It was a stain and now my team look better than ever. I've got other work to do but I definitely appreciate their efforts. I would highly recommend to others.

Edit:Took only a few visits to repair 20 years worth of dental neglect and a severe phobia brought on by terrible past experiences. Walked in today with no anxiety and left with a smile that I'm proud to display. Finding this office and staff was truly a blessing. Can't recommend enough.

I drive a little over two hours to see Dr. Wright. After horrible experiences elsewhere, I was paralyzed by fear, and oral health was affecting every area of my life. He listened. He addressed every issue I had. I had a full mouth restoration/ implants. Minor discomfort, on first day- post surgery. By day 2, I was rotating Tylenol and Advil ( personal choice) and no issues with implants or healing. None. I now have the final set. They are beautiful. He truly does amazing work. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Wright for restoring my health and life. He and his entire staff are amazing people. I've worked in healthcare half of my life. It's refreshing to see staff that are engaging their patients, that take the extra time to educate, and have great bedside manner! It's becoming more rare! Dr. Wright is very much worth your time and effort. If you want a positive, life changing experience, make an appointment.

Awesome by far the best most personable friendly group of professionals I've ever met and my teeth are perfect Still I can't say enough about dr Wright and his crew again they go above and beyond any other dentist iv ever been to thats at least 12 from here to California hands down best team ever.
