I graduated from the College Of Dentistry, University of Indore, India in 1994 and secured top rank in the four professional examinations of Bachelor of Dentistry. I was the recipient of the Colgate India scholarship. Subsequently, I worked as a Resident in family dentistry at University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for four years. During this period I gained extensive experience in various aspects of dentistry including the preoperative and postoperative management of pedodontic and oral surgery patients treated under General Anesthesia.
During my residency at University College of Medical Sciences, I was involved with various research projects including Orodental implications of chronic renal disease and Changes due to infected primary molars on the developing succedaneous teeth. Three of my research studies have since got published in various national journals. I have been actively involved in administrative work and teaching during my residency. I was nominated academic secretary during my 3rd year in dental school. Through my professional career, I have been closely involved with various health awareness programs like Pulse Polio awareness program, Anti Smoking and Cancer awareness program and Geriatric clinics run by the Govt. of India. I have also had the opportunity to educate the rural school children in various Indian cities about dental health. l have always believed in the concept of a healthy mind and a healthy body and have been actively involved in sports and extracurricular activities. I represented my university in athletics and Kho-Kho, a popular Indian sport, at national competitions and was nominated Women athlete of the year during my final year in dental school. I was also a member of the College Cultural Committee and Debating club. Environmental conservation is close to my heart and I enjoy a close proximity to nature, it stimulates me to think and have prompted me, time and again, to voice my feelings on issues dear to me.
Even though I always considered myself as a career oriented person, after my marriage, I have come to realize that my family is one of my important strengths. In retrospect, I feel happy to have taken a couple of years off work during the early childhood of my lovely daughter, Pallavi, and son, Kartikay. It has further strengthened my belief that children deserve and need all the extra attention and care of their parents during their early years.

World of Smiles is a great place to send your babies. I've been bringing mine since he was 6 months. He's learning great habits while making friends with the ladies who work there. His dentist Sushma is amazing!

I love this dentist office. I've been bringing my kids here for about 7 years now and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always so nice and helpful and the dentist is amazing. She always makes my kids feel comfortable and explains to them what she is going to do before she does it, which helps put them at ease. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait but it is worth it. I highly recommend this dentist.

I absolutely love this dentist office! They've been like family to myself and my children for about 6 years now! Dr. Pati is the best. My kids were so scared of the dentist before her. Now, they look forward to seeing her and Tee Tee!

My daughter needed to be seen asap for a toothache and a dental consultation. They was able to get her in next day. Staff was friendly and very patient with her. They did x-rays. They were the best images I've ever seen done at a dental office.

Twice I have had to reschedule. Its ridiculous and uncalled for. They scheduled my sons appointment at 1:00. In which I brought him to work with me cuz I can't afford to take off thinking maybe just maybe it won't take the rest of the day. So we are in waiting room for an hr and a half now and my son is restless I'm getting restless when another mom and kid come out and says its gonna be a long wait that they had waited for 2 hrs before getting called back. So going by that info I would have to wait 30 more minutes to be called back plus the hr and a half probably more after we get to the back. Not to mention we still had 2 ppl ahead of us. Not happy with my experience and we haven't even seen the dentist yet. I wonder how that experience will go.

My son absolutely hated the dentist before I took him here , they made him feel comfortable to where he even let them work on his teeth with out me being right there beside him ! He loves his new dentist and is already asking when he can go back!

A++ If you looking for a place that puts your children's best interest FIRST, that has great bedside manners, that's gentle to your kids and has toys, tv and books while waiting... then look no further!!! Dr. Patti and staff (World of Smiles) is THE PLACE to go to!!! They are always willing to answer any questions , explaining what there doing and accommodating your needs!!
