Dr. Marilian Lauzan was born and raised in Cuba. She graduated from The University of Havana Dental School in 2000. After practicing dentistry for some years, Dr. Lauzan came to the United States to further her education at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2011. Dr. Lauzan treats patients as family.
When Dr. Lauzan is away from the office she enjoys traveling, cooking and most importantly spending time with her beautiful daughters and husband. Dr Lauzan is a member of the American Dental Association and Florida Dental Association. My goal is to provide the highest quality dental care with compassion as if I have a family member in the chair.'

I called World Dental Associates for a chipped tooth and was able to get an appointment the next day. I was so impressed with the kindness and knowledge of the receptionist, Doctor, and staff. Everyone was so helpful and put me at ease. They were able to fix my tooth then and there!! I was in no pain and had no anxiety during the entire procedure and I walked out with a beautiful smile. THANK YOU for a GREAT experience at the Dentist!!!

If I could leave a negative star feed back I would.This review has a lot more to do with the front of the house then the Dentist.Short version incoming Made appointment had to wait 3 weeks for appointment date no biggie small cavity should not be much worse in 3 weeks cross fingers. Day before appointment I get an email for new patient paperwork told needed to be printed and brought in for my early morning appointment the next day well I have no time to do it today WHY IN THE WORLD WHEN I AM WAITING 3 WEEKS FOR AN APPOINTMENT YOU SEND NEW PATIENT PAPER WORK 20 HOURS BEFORE APPOINTMENT. Now I gave them the insurance information when I made the appointment 3 weeks prior they said np they accepted it. Then I get a phone call 40 mins before my appointment time they claim they now actually do not take my insurance and the visit would be several hundred dollars.Of course I had to ask why am I hearing about this now 3 weeks after I made the appointment and 40 mins before my appointment time. I am told "I dont know". So now sitting here for 3 weeks with a cavity they has gotten more painful then it was when I first made the appointment. I am stuck calling and trying to find a new dentist and a appointment time that is not weeks off.I am not telling anyone what to do but until the people in the front of the house get a grasp on what they are doing I would not be sitting thinking all is well if you have a new patient appointment on the schedule or looking to make one. RUN! Wow that was the short version sorry for Wall of text.

I am fairly new to Ocala and establishing new health care providers. I was very fortunate to have found the team at World Dental. I am in the process of having 4 crowns replaced, one of which also requires an implant. I have had a difficult, painful experience since 1992 with the crown that requires the implant. I had worked myself into quite an anxious state in anticipation of additional dental work. Dr. Lauzan is a very gifted dentist and has made the beginning of the process painless, literally painless!! We all go to health care providers for that kind of expertise. Here's the icing on the cake. Not only is Dr. Lauzan talented in her field but she and her team are some the kindest people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I can't say enough about the positive experience I have had! My procedure will be ongoing for quite some time. I feel much better taking the journey with World Dental. UPDATE: The procedure has been completed. As stated previously, it was ongoing and this team has become like family to me. My crowns are complete and my smile is the one I've wished for my entire life. I like to tease Dr. Lauzan and Trina about being perfectionist but they are truly artists who love their craft. Michelle and Diana, at the front desks have also become the smiles I look forward to seeing when I walk through the door. Love, love this whole team and all they have done for me!

I have been going to World Dental for about 4 years. I always had a great experience and Shelly was my hygienist. I found out yesterday that she left to pursue a new career. I had Marianne for the first time and she was lovely. The entire staff at World Dental is caring and competent. I love Dr. Lauzan as she is very gentle and doesn't do anything unless it is necessary. I highly recommend this practice.

I had a tooth emergency and was in a great deal of pain. From my very first email inquiry throughout the whole process, I was treated with the greatest respect and kindness. The whole staff is great, prompt and upfront about what to expect, cost, etc. The dental office is clean and very calming. I didnt have to wait only a few minutes before being called back. The staff is very attentive to each patient. My tooth ended up being needed to be pulled. Dr. Lauzan and her office was able to fit me in the same day to pull it instead of having to come back and be in pain all weekend. Dr. Lauzan was gentle and made sure I was in no pain the whole time which was super quick. Today I am feeling great and in no pain. I cant thank Dr. Lauzan and her staff. This will be my go to dentist and I'll definitely be back. Thanks again.
