Dr. Stern received a Bachelor of Arts in biology and community health from Brown University. She earned her D.M.D. from the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. During her doctorate education, Dr. Stern was awarded the Merit Scholarship Award for Academics and was Dean's List for the National Boards. During her education at Tufts, she tutored for anatomy, pre-clinical dentistry, and prosthetics classes.
After completing a dental degree, Dr. Stern served as a General Practice Resident at Nassau County Medical Center in New York. Choosing to remain in the 'Big Apple,' she received her advanced education in endodontics at New York University College of Dentistry in 2005. Dr. Stern returned to Massachusetts in 2007 and is now the CEO of Worcester Endodontics.
In addition to her comprehensive clinical background, Dr. Stern has extensive research experience in pain management and anesthesia. She is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Abdennour received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1989 from Washington University School of Dental Medicine where he also received the outstanding clinical ability award. Following his dental degree, he attended a postgraduate general practice residency at a Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, a USC affiliated hospital.
He also trained in surgical endodontics at the Karl Franz University Hospital in Austria. Upon graduation from Harvard, he was the class recipient of the Krakow Award for Clinical Proficiency in Endodontics. Dr. Abdennour has conducted research at the Forsyth Dental Institute in Boston contributing to the patent of a therapeutic endodontic agent. He also lectures in several languages in the U.S. and abroad on Precision Based Endodontics.
