Jonathan Wooten was raised in the rural town of Kingstree, South Carolina. He graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina, where he majored in chemistry and minored in music. Dr. Wooten earned his DMDDoctor of Medicine in Dentistryat the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.
While Dr. Wootens training is based in more difficult, comprehensive dental procedures, his focus has always been on patient comfort. He believes its important to educate his patients, so they can make well-informed decisions about their dental health.
That means not over diagnosing dental work. Not all procedures are necessary for everyone. And sometimes, its not financially feasible for a patient to have all of the recommended work done all at once. We will always help you find a treatment plan that fits your needs. No gimmicks. No sales pitches. Its that simple.
I became a dentist because I enjoy helping people in a tangible way. If someone comes to me in pain, I can fix it. If a person is unhappy with something about their teeth, we can find a resolution. Its gratifying to solve a problem through good results. If I can relieve someones discomfort, then Ive done my job.
Ashley grew up in Worthington, Ohio, and started her dental assisting career in 2020. She enjoys working with patients and making their visits comfortable and stress-free. In her free time, Ashley likes spending time outdoors and being active. She loves cheering on the Buckeyes and drinking a lot of coffee. Ashley and her fiance, Dakota, have a spoiled Corgi named Hazel and enjoy spending time with family and traveling.
A Columbus native, Danielle has worked in the service industry her entire career. She moved to Clintonville in 2003 and has been the Office Manager at this location since 2010. Danielle works directly with all of our patients solving problems and helping in all areas of treatment understanding.
In her free time, Mel loves to read, spend time with her 4 dogs, and work on home projects. Her favorite thing about working with Dr. Wooten is that he makes people feel at ease and is very good at what he does.
Sam grew up in Columbus and earned her degree as a Certified Dental Assistant from Ohio Business College in 2013. Her favorite thing about dentistry is giving patients a happy, healthy smile. During her time off, she enjoys spending family time with her husband, Paul, son, Finnley, and puppy dog, Major!
Stacey is originally from Niles, Ohio, and is a graduate of Youngstown State University where she received a degree in dental hygiene. Upon her college graduation, she relocated to Columbus and began professional dental hygiene employment. In her spare time, Stacey enjoys living an active lifestyle and spending time with her husband, John, and family.
Jill grew up in Worthington, Ohio, and received a Bachelor's Degree in English from Ohio State University. While education was her first career path, she decided to study dentistry at Columbus State where she obtained a Dental Hygiene degree. Jill keeps busy outside of the office with her husband, three kids, and dog, Harley.
Abby Twiss has been a dental hygienist for over 15 years. Like Joe, she also attended the Ohio State University. Abbys favorite part about working as a hygienist are daily interactions with patients, as well as helping people achieve a healthy mouth and beautiful smile. This Canal Winchester girl likes working with Dr. Wooten because hes meticulous, caring, and has an incredible sense of humor. When Abby isnt super mom-ing her 3 kids, youll find her traveling, reading, or binge watching a ridiculous television show.

Wooten Dental does great work. Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient staff that provides a high level of quality / service. This appointment was scheduled to get crown preparation and temp to fix a tooth with decay underneath an old filling. I had a lot of questions pertaining to the process, options and if the decay would require a root canal. Doctor Wooten explained everything and made sure that I was satisfied and confident to move forward.Taking the time to answer all my questions and showing details of the tooth made me much more at ease. The numbing, removal of decay/filling, preparation and temporary crown all went very well. No pain or problems with the temporary crown. Great so far! Can't wait to get the permanent crown.

I spent a lot of time with them yesterday and Sam and Dr. Wooten were top notch! It's clear they care about their patients and hold patient comfort at the top of their priorities. Bright, clean offices with updated technologies made this experience better than it could've been. Friendly staff- checkin couldn't be easier. I was really impressed and couldn't be happier to have found a dentist that I like that I will not hesitate to visit in the future. My search for a new dentist had become urgent when I broke a tooth and this group made me feel so important and prioritized and it made a huge difference to me.

This guy an his staff is amazing ...very friendly an professional....me myself I dread going to the dentist an try to withstand the toothaches for aslong as possible.....but with Dr Wooten I got teeth pulled an it was almost pain free (a pinch here an there but he let me know it was coming i appreciated that) an his assistant was very friendly an knowledgeable had all the information i needed i even scheduled another visit before I left (I never do that the dread) but this team made me feel like this ain't so bad....so if you hate going to the dentist try this guy an his staff....they just might change your mind they changed mine.....

Dr. Wooten and his dental hygienist Joe were incredible with my three-year old daughter. It was her first dentist appointment and they made it so much fun for her. She left talking about how excited she was to go back. At best I thought she would tolerate the appointment but they created a great atmosphere and talked through each step of the cleaning process with her so she felt at ease.
