Dr. Wooster was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up on Long Island, NY. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY and dental training at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. graduating in 1984. He then completed an advanced general dentistry residency in Rochester, NY.
Dr. Wooster was in private practice for 12 years in Farmingdale, NY and then moved to South Carolina in 1996 where he established Off-Island Dental Care.. He later established Wooster Dental Care in November 2013.
Dr. Wooster lives in Beaufort, SC and has 2 children, Stephanie and Mathew. Stephanie is a CRNA at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. She provided us with three grandchildren; Alexa is now 7, Isaac who is 5, and Emilia who is 2 .
She received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Trident Technical College in Charleston. As a dental hygienist, Michele worked in Charleston for 10 years, then with Dr. Wooster at Off Island Dental for 9 years. In December 2013 she started working at Dr. Woosters new office, Wooster Dental Care.

This was the most disrespectful office I have ever been to for an appointment. I was talked down to as if I was a child and was refused care. I am a patient here but no longer after today. When there is an emergency and you're a patient usually the doctor wants to get you in or have someone else see you for your issue. Nope, not here. They want you to find your own surgeon or help for the issue at hand. Thanks Dr Wooster and the receptionist at your office for the lovely phone call! Again nothing but disrespect unless your his age or older. What a joke.

Wooster dental's staff are professional, efficient and kind. The facility is always clean. They plan the appointments so you do not have to wait. They are very thorough in the dental cleaning and exam. Give them a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I got my good looks back thanks to Dr. Jay. No strain -- no pain - I can smile again. My two new front teeth will last for life. I'm 87 years young & now kissable again. Look out Teresa - you too, Dr.Jay & all your wonderful staff. Thanks for a great job, as always. George "Bud" McClelland

Michelle did a superb job cleaning my teeth. Painless too!!!!! Exam by Dr. Mark was very professionally done. Very pleased with the front office also, they were efficient and friendly.
