I initially had a good experience and was instructed to return for another consultation six months later. Unfortunately, they kept rescheduling the new appointment for months later to the original date. Just today they called, the day before the scheduled late appointment, to inform me that the new dentist would not accept my insurance. I would have to pay for that visit out of pocket and submit a request for reimbursement if I wanted to go. The alternative was to postpone my appointment with a dentist for two more months. I am currently looking for a new company as I do not feel like this one actually cares about their client satisfaction.

Dr. Hartzler is amazing. He came in on a Sunday to do what I call emergency work on a tooth. He then fit me in the next day to extract the same tooth that had been causing me severe pain. To say he went above and beyond is an understatement. No one likes going to the dentist. However, he and his staff will make it a good experience. I can't sing his praises enough!!

The experience with my cleaning and dental work was so-so. Nothing to write home about. However, when it came time to pay my bill, I was very concerned. I received a statement in the mail from my insurance company about 4 months after the work was done, but no bill. Then today the receptionist at work gave me a statement from Wooster and Loudonville Dental Associates that had my husband's name on it and was addressed to my work address, which she had opened (thinking it was a document related to one of our clients, not knowing my husband's first name). The bill had an invoice date of February 18, a postmark of February 19, but hadn't reached me until today, March 4. The bill was due tomorrow, March 5. I went to the Wooster office, where I had my work done, to pay the bill the same day. I let the receptionist know I was concerned about the fact that the wrong information was on the bill. Though she fixed my address, there was no explanation given or even an apology made. I'm very concerned about doing business with a place that is so careless with personal information and seems to have very little regard for how upsetting this is. I am used to working with confidential information. It's pretty easy to do your due diligence and make sure customers' information is secure. Thankfully my workplace is not one that would withhold a document like that from me, but in the past I've worked in toxic environments that would do exactly that. There is no telling what would have happened to my sensitive information, had it fallen into the wrong hands - not to mention the financial straits I would be in if my bill would have been higher and been paid late with interest. I will be looking for a new provider, and just thought I'd help others make an informed decision.

Great group of dentists! Very personable and want what's best for you without unnecessary work being done, only what you need. Very safe and efficient treatment during this COVID period.

Friendly atmosphere and they all care! I usually dread going to the dentist but not since I have started coming here. While it is never fun going to the dentist, they keep you comfortable and pain free for their procedure. I HIGHLY recommend Wooster Dental.
