This is where most orthodontists list their degrees and association memberships. Orthodontist pretty much all have 3 degrees. I have a B.Sc in biochemistry, a DDS, and a Masters Degree. It was a lot of work, I am proud of it, but it doesnt tell you who I am. Heres a little about me:

I was born with a cleft lip and palate. My first orthodontic experience was at about 6 months old, when my cleft was surgically repaired, and my last set of braces came off when I was 29. When I was 11 years old, I decided I wanted to be an orthodontist. It seemed like the natural choice!

After graduating, my wife, Allison, and I moved here to Ahwatukee. Our 2 kids, Maya and Ben were born here, and have grown up in our neighborhood. We love the community feel of Ahwatukee. Its great to see kids that I coached in little league at the age of 6 come into the office now for treatment. Or its very fun to be trail running on South Mountain, and have the Desert Vista bike team ride by, yelling hey, Dr. W!

Needless to say, my personal experience definitely influenced how I practice today. My orthodontic journey was long and difficult, filled with all kinds of different appliances. So, in my office, I try to avoid early orthodontics. There are times it is necessary, but I feel there are far too many 7,8,9 year olds in our neighborhood with braces. I will never sell treatment. I offer honest recommendations for patients and parents to consider. The difficulty of my own experience also led me to be an early adopter of Invisalign for all case types. Keep it simple orthodontics is technical, but it doesnt have to be complicated and cumbersome for the patient. I try to make it as fast and easy as it can possibly be, while maintaining quality results.

A little about me: I am an Arizona native and I couldnt imagine wanting to live anywhere else. I graduated from ASU with a Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing (Go Devils!!). I am happily married to my best friend and we have two adorable kiddos named Adam and Katie. When I am not working I love to travel, learn new things, spend time outdoors, and watch Suns games.

A little about me:I am an Arizona Native, raised in Tucson and attended the University of Arizona. I am happily married and have three wonderful Children: Tyler, Sydnee and Lexi. When not working or being a Mom I love spending time outdoors. I love hiking; training for marathons and snow skiing in the winters.

At Woolaver Clearsmiles:I have worked in the orthodontic field for 22 years. I met Dr. Woolaver and staff while training the office for a new software program they had recently installed. From the first day I spent with this office I was impressed with how well the team worked together; not only were they talented and efficient at their jobs, it was apparent they loved what they were doing. When the opportunity to join the office presented itself I could not wait to become part of the team.

A little about me:I was born in the Philippines and grew up in Camp Verde, Arizona. I moved to Phoenix after graduating high school to go to college and pursue both a professional career and musical career. Currently, i play guitar for The Darts of Alternative Tentacles Records, and Decker of The Royal Potato Family Records. You can follow both bands on social media for tour dates and listen to us on Spotify, Apple Music, and all media streaming services. In my spare time i love hanging out with my other half David. We enjoy hiking, exploring new restaurants, visiting the beach, and spending time with our cat Jaqen.

At Woolaver Clearsmiles:Orthodontics has always been my passion in the dental field. For the last 7 years i have worked as everything from clinical assistant, lead assistant, and front office. I relate on a personal level to helping create smiles because i went through braces and corrective jaw surgery in my early 20s. I love being a part of the amazing team here at Woolaver Ortho because i love helping patients grow into their life changing smiles!

A little about me:Resident of Arizona for over nine years, I enjoy living under the sun and especially the outdoor lifestyle it brings. I enjoy sports, especially with an affinity to Major League Baseball. If you go into Dr. Woolavers office it is like stepping into a Field of Dreams, so it wasnt to hard to say yes when I had the opportunity to join his team.

A little about me:After about ten years of living in Bend, Oregan the sunshine pulled me back to Arizona. I love exploring new places, hiking, and spending time with my other half and our furbaby, Bella.

A little about me:I am a homegrown Arizonan! I am married with five beautiful children. 4 wonderful girls and one rambunctious boy! My family is my world. I am a big-time foodie, I like to travel, bike ride (my husband custom built our bikes for us) and play board games (yes, board games are still around.lol) I am an incurable optimist who loves conversation!

A little about me:I am a native Arizonan, and although I love our State, I try to get to California to enjoy some beach time every chance I get. I am married to my tech-nerdy husband and we have two beautiful girls that are growing up way too fast! We also have two hamsters and two dogs- Skittles and Cocoa.

I am new to orthodontics, but I remember well what it was like to be self-conscious about my smile. A little about me:Originally from Chicago, my family and I picked up and moved to Arizona 4 years ago. We love it here! My daughter just started college at ASU so my husband and I are getting use to being empty nesters. We spend our time camping, hiking, and traveling with our little Chihuahua mix.
