Robert K. Mensah received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Columbia University and his training in orthodontics at Howard University in Washington, DC. Previously, he earned his Bachelor of Arts at Rutgers University in New Jersey. Dr. Mensah was an officer in the US Air Force for eight years, during which he completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Wright Patterson Medical Center. He continues his service as an officer in the Air Force Reserves.
Dr. Mensah is dedicated to continuing his education to sharpen his clinical abilities and judgement, and stay connected with new techniques being used in the field of orthodontics and dentistry. He consistently strives to improve his treatment outcomes and efficiency.
In addition to continuing his education, Dr. Mensah is active in the National Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists (Government Affairs Committee), and the Maryland State Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Tania Nkungula considers it her personal obligation to provide only the highest quality care to her patients. She looks forward to working with you and welcomes all of the challenges and rewards that come with being an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.
Dr. Tania received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Howard University College of Dentistry. She completed a General Practice Residency at Harlem Hospital Center before specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the School of Dentistry at Meharry Medical College.
Dr. Tania is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and has been in private practice since 2001. She is passionate about making the experience of oral surgery as comfortable as possible and growing the community within the dental profession both locally and globally.

I've been coming here for years and never had any issues. I've had my wisdom teeth pulled years ago and now in braces. The staff is VERY informative and knowledgeable. Also, they're FANTASTIC and welcoming.

This is the best ortho office. I always feel so welcome! The receptionist, Maria always knows who I am and makes me feel like she actually takes time to get to know the patients, wouldn't want anyone else checking me in. Keysha the treatment coordinator is so knowledgeable and thorough. The whole staff is great truly a great team 10/10

Very disrespectful behavior. I called to setup an appointment to get multiple work done including braces. The lady picked the call and put me on hold immediately as I started talking without saying anything. after 8 minutes she asked me about the required work done and again put me on hold for next 5 minutes. Finally she started talking and asked my insurance. I gave the insurance ID and related details but she started asking my home address and work details. I stopped her there and asked why is she asking for all these details as my appointment hasn't fixed yet. she said that she will send the details to insurance to know about my coverage details and will tell me the price of everything before I get in. I said what if I don't like the doctor or the clinic? I want to come first, If I want the treatment, you can contact the insurance otherwise I will walk away. She replied; if you don't want the treatment you can walk away but we need to confirm your coverage detail before you come in. I said what I can afford the treatment if its NOT or PARTIALLY COVERED. But I need to see the doctor first. She refused to give me any appointment. The lady stereotyped me as I cant afford the treatment. This is pathetic and disrespectful. Don't go there they are rude and disrespectful.

STAY AWAY from Woodview!!!! Dealing with Woodview HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE!!! My two sons were fitted with braces around Sept-Oct of 2016. FIRST, during the early months/years of the treatment, Woodview kept hitting us up for ADDITIONAL FUNDS, claiming WE OWED MORE (we DID NOT). Our treatment plan had already been approved by our insurance, and we were making a reasonable payment each month for a certain number of months, as agreed, to cover the ongoing adjustments. However, Woodview claimed we owed over $7k between both boys,...which WE DID NOT. We had to end up writing to Maryland's Attorney General to get it straightened out, and Woodview eventually relented. However, my boys were scheduled to get their braces FINALLY REMOVED 2 YEARS AGO. However, on the day of their joint appointment, my husband had a cold, and because this was around the time when COVID-19 was starting to pick up steam, they decided that IF my husband had a cold, the WHOLE FAMILY HAD COVID, and they cancelled the appointment. AFTER THAT, Woodview stopped responding for a time (it SEEMS the practice was virtually SHUT DOWN during COVID). Once my husband found they were "up and running" again, he CALLED, EMAILED, LEFT MESSAGES...but Woodview has NEVER RESPONDED. I will probably have to see if the dentist my husband and I use can finish up the remaining treatment (removal and fitting with retainers), which WILL cost us ADDITIONAL FUNDS. DO NOT GIVE WOODVIEW YOUR BUSINESS !!!!

My goodness Dr. Nkungula is an amazing doctor!!! She is so sweet, tender, funny and overall awesome! She explained everything before getting started and was talking to me throughout my procedure. I felt extremely safe and in good hands. She also has an amazing team that answered any questions I had. Ms. T and Stephie were also super helpful with everything I needed. Great team you have there!
