After working for over five years for a large group practice in the Minneapolis metro area, my wife and I started looking for a smaller community to live. We made the move to New Ulm in 2005 and are glad to call it our home. I have enjoyed developing relationships with my patients and staff as well as the opportunity to provide a wide range of dental services to the community.

I am married to my wife, Sheila, and we have 3 boys; Jack, Ben, and Daniel. Outside the office I enjoy coaching my boys soccer and basketball teams and playing golf. Having run 6 marathons and completed several different triathlons, I am always training for my next race. I am a member of the New Ulm Club and the New Ulm Medical Center Foundation Board.

Serving ourcommunity means I am allowed to help create more beautiful and healthy smiles. I understand people may not enjoy going to the dentist so I striveto createa comfortable, efficient, and worry-free experience. My goal is to offer services locally so patients can get treated without leaving New Ulm. This has led me to seek out courses in implant dentistry.

I graduated in 2020 and started working at Woodview Dental Clinic shortly after dental offices opened back up from the Covid-19 shut down. Working with this team has been very rewarding, and I appreciate how committed everyone is to caring for our patients.

I graduated from South Central College with an Associates degree in Dental Assisting and joined Woodview Dental Clinic in 2016. This is a great dental office with an incredible team. We are all reaching for the same goal every day: healthy, beautiful smiles.

I also completed the Minnesota Dental Board-approved Restorative Expanded Functions program at the University of Minnesota in 2013. In my spare time I enjoy being with friends and family. The quiet time at sunrise is my favorite part of the day and I love my morning coffee. I love to travel to the mountains and the oceans, and explore nature. While I appreciate the four seasons, the hot summer sun is my favorite.

I began my career as a dental assistant in 2011.I attended Minnesota State University, Mankato andSouth Central College where I received an Associate's Degree in Dental Assisting.I joined Woodview Dental Clinic in 2012. We all work together to make sure our patient's needs are met.

I enjoy being a dental assistant because of the variety of procedures and patients that come with each day. Procedures vary depending on the patient's age and dental situation. It is a good feeling to know at the end of the day that you did your best to make a difference for someone.

I attended Hennepin Technical College in Minneapolis and started my career at Woodview Dental Clinic in 2000. I enjoyworking with the doctors and the rest of the dental team because we all have the same mission in mind: keeping our patients healthy and comfortable. It is a feeling of stability when working toward a common goal, respecting each other as you do it.

I started in the field in 2000, working as a Dental Lab Technician. I attended South Central Technical College, where I received an AAS degree, became a Licensed Dental Assistant in 2003, and joined Woodview Dental Clinic in 2011. My coworkers and our doctors feel like family. They are all good people and make the days enjoyable.

Much of my free time is spent with friends and family. Al is my husband and I have two sons, Alex and Adam, and two Boston Terriers, Oscar and Spencer, too. Outdoor activities are my favorites, especially walking, biking, and flower gardening.

I love caring for patients and how each persons visit is different from the person before and the one after them. Each needs a different care approach for their concerns, so I constantly have to think and adjust my approach.
