As a dentist in Woodstock/Portland area for almost 35 years, Dr Randy Otteson has built many long-lasting relationships with our patients. The experience our patients have had with him is never dull, with his extensive knowledge about dentistry and witty sense of humor. His caring manner, professionalism, and gentle approach are so excellent that they attract patient not only from Portland but also Milwaukie, Oregon City, Vancouver, and all the way from the Oregon Coast!
Dr. Otteson attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate degree in Biology, and soon after he obtained his dental education from Oregon Health and Science University. He then did one year of General Practice Residency with the US Army. With the extensive training and many years of experience, Dr. Otteson is excellent at a variety of dental treatments, including implants and same-day crowns.

They have been very kind to me and to my financial situation. The program they have that helps people who don't have insurance has made a big difference for me. I got a thorough check up on my first appointment and we scheduled the next one right after. Definitely gonna make this my go-to dental office

I'm new to Portland and feel very lucky to have found Dr Nguyen in my neighborhood! Dr Nguyen made me feel comfortable by educating me on my choices. Also, when I expressed that I felt nervous she had a therapeutic response that put me at ease .

I have been going here for 6 months after a bad experience with another dental clinic. They did such a great job treating me quickly and getting up to speed on my medical record. I understood the billing options and appreciate friendly energy from all the staff members. I usually hate going to the dentist but that has chaged since going here!

I've been looking for a new dentist since my previous dentist retired a couple of years ago; I finally found my new dentist! Nancy answered the phone when I called to see if they were taking new patients, and she was so friendly and bubbly. I knew based on my interaction with her that I wanted to schedule an appointment for my six month cleaning. I had my first appointment at Woodstock Smiles yesterday and it was one of the best dentist appointments I've had in a really long time. Nancy warmly greeted me, got me checked in, and I almost immediately went back for xrays. Phyllis, the dental hygentist, was so sweet and made sure I was comfortable throughout the cleaning. When Dr. Nguyen came in to look at my teeth, she complimented my teeth and I appreciated that she didn't try to upsell me on anything. I've been biting the inside of my cheeks for years (a nervous habit), and she is the first dentist who has ever noticed and brought up the damage that I've caused to my cheek tissue. I've never had a dentist do such a comprehensive assessment after a cleaning. She was extemely detailed and made sure everything looked healthy in my mouth before signing me off. I'll be recommending Woodstock Smiles to my friends. If you're looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen and her team!

I am so pleased with this dental office. I started coming here in about 1985 or 1986 and, though the dentists have changed, each of them have been over the top in dental care. I enjoy the friendliness of all of the staff and Dr. Nguyen and her assistant are awesome. I can't imagine trusting my care to anyone else.

This was my initial visit but it won't be my last the crew and the dentist and the vibe in the office is so pleasant it was almost fun to go to the dentist and I haven't said that well I don't think I've ever said that it couldn't have gone any better thank you Woodstock smiles and I'll see you soon
