Victor Zeines, DDS, MS, FAGD, FIND, Dr. Zeines has been practicing holistic dentistry for the past 25 years. He sees patients at his two New York City-area practice locations on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and in Shokan, New York.
He received his degree from New York University College of Dentistry and completed an internship at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York. Dr. Zeines always believed that dentistry needed to do more than just fix teeth.
In 1980, he received a Master of Science in nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. He received fellowship status from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1982. An early article by Dr. Zeines called Nutritional Eases Dental Problems, published in 1980, talks about the link regarding oral and systemic health.
Today, theres an increased understanding of the impact of oral health on the rest of the body and an increasing body of support for the multiple connections between oral health and total wellness. We have always known that protecting the health of gums will help patients to keep not just their teeth, but their life, says Dr. Zeines.
Dr. Zeines is the author of several books, including Healthy Mouth Healthy Body, Living A Longer Life- Naturally, and Your Tongue Never Lies. He is also a contributing writer for Rodales The Herbal Drugstore, and he makes regular appearances on radio and television. Dr. Zeines is one of the contributors to the film Food Matters. Dr. Zeines hosts the Healthy Mouth, Healthy Body show on NYTalkRadio.net.
A member of the Advisory Board of TheHolisticOption.com, Dr. Zeines uses a combination of homeopathy, kinesiology, nutrition, and aromatic therapy along with biocompatible materials in a gentle relaxed atmosphere. At his practice, Dr. Zeines offers a variety of services, including crowns, veneers, teeth cleaning, Invisalign, and more. He uses non-surgical periodontal therapy and nonsurgical TMJ treatment. His offices have been mercury-free for over 25 years.

I have seen Dr. Zeines for over 25 years. I came to him extremely phobic, having anxiety attacks in the chair. He worked with me using many different techniques until I was able to have him work on my mouth. I can say without hesitation I trust him implicitly. His work is excellent and his staff are the best. Donna has been a stable force for me as well. You won't be disappointed. They're all kind and compassionate and highly skilled.

I had an emergency when a front tooth cracked off and left a big gap in the front of my mouth. Dr Zeines did a wonderful bonding procedure. I was horrified at the way I looked when the tooth broke. Dr Zeines restored my ability to face the world again! Thank you so much for "the little tooth."

I booked a root canal extraction with Dr. Zeines. I was very anxious the weeks preceding the extraction. I showed up (a lot calmer, praying a lot for peace) I sat in the chair and from the get go Dr Z made me feel comfortable and at ease. From start to finish I was at peace (praise God) and it was over before I knew it! All I had was a numbing injection and he gently took the tooth out with a wiggling motion. The tooth had the start of an abscess that wasn't evident on an x ray. He used an ozone shot, took out the ligament and it was done. It's the next day and I have little to no pain at all. The price was right too! Nothing broke the bank! I'll be back for the other 2 soon.

Dr zeines is a treasure. He is unlike any other dentist. He has a great knowledge of the relationship of a healthy mouth to the whole body and utilizes alternative methods to get great results from sometimes challenging dental issues. He has a commitment to care for his patients unlike any other dentist; oftentimes calling to see how I was doing after a difficult procedure. And his staff is wonderful.

I too do not write many reviews......I have been a patient of Dr. Ziennes for 18 years. I had problems with my teeth ....thought I might lose some. Dr. Ziennes assured me that I would be able to keep my teeth for life. I was skeptical. Well here I am 18 years later and thanks to him and Karen I have kept all my teeth! He encourages his patients to be responsible for their health. Answers all questions He is an honest and decent person.......his assistant Karen is the greatest!

I don't usually post reviews, but I think everyone should know how great of a person and dentist Dr. Zeines is. He is funny and caring and has many years of experience. He not only claims to be a holistic dentist but actually has a great deal of knowledge in it. He understand mind and body healing as well. He safely removed my mercury fillings and does not give kids fluoride treatments. My son loves going to his office. His whole staff is great! We travel over 30 minutes to his office, he is worth it!
