Dr. Sarah Phillips Yarnell has been working in dentistry for over a decade now, and she is extremely passionate about helping patients achieve optimal oral health! Originally from Lake City, AR, she studied at Lyon College in Batesville, AR before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee. She is additionally a Master in the College of Sedation Dentistry! To this day, she engages in continuing education courses in order to ensure that her care approach is modern and high-quality.
Dr. Yarnell understands very well that anxious or fearful patients may find dentistry a stressful experience. For those with complicated health conditions, treatments may also feel overwhelming. Thankfully, sedation can help. She has advanced training in no-fear sedation dentistry as a Master in the College of Sedation Dentistry. Patients can choose from oral conscious sedation or IV (intravenous) sedation, and Dr. Yarnell will be more than happy to explain which one she feels better suits your specific needs and concerns. With sedation dentistry, even complex procedures become smooth and simple in her treatment chair.
While Dr. Yarnell is happy to care for patients from all walks of life, she has a particular passion for helping those who have gone long periods of time without access to dental care, or who have underlying health conditions that have resulted in serious complications like extensive decay or missing teeth. As a dental implant specialist, she has the perfect solution for these situations! Dr. Yarnell uses only the most high-quality materials to create permanent replacement teeth seamlessly, ensuring that your new smile will both look great and last for many years to come with the proper care. Lisa says she loves WFD because everyone welcomed her right into the work family. She says she has the best boss and coworkers and she looks forward to seeing them each week. Lisa says she has so much fun at work and she truly enjoys her job. Kelsey loves working in such a positive and uplifting work environment. She enjoys getting to know patients and makes it her mission to make sure everyone who steps foot through the door at WFD feels comfortable and taken care of.

Dr. Yarnell and all of her team are fantastic! I have had bad experiences before with dentists, but she really knows what she is doing and makes the experience as pain free as possible. Ashlee, one of the hygienist's was great as well, very caring and excellent at what she does. I will now go regularly to the dentist and would have never said that 6 months ago. I would recommend them to anyone, especially if you have any fears about going.

So Professional!(Shout out to Amanda!)She is a perfectionist and educates me on dental issues and cares for my teeth like they are hers. I have been to many dental offices but I have never received the kind of care that I have received here! Everyone that works there (Shout out to Dr Sarah and Kelsey!)seems genuinely glad to see you.I have had some pretty invasive dental work,no pain!

Very nice friendly staff. I am a big baby when a dentist causes me any pain at all. I have had 2 extractions and 5 fillings in the past 4 years, and have not had any pain or discomfort.

I highly recommend Woodsprings Family Dental. Everyone is always exceptional from Kelsey (front desk) to Ashley (best hygienist) to Dr. Sara. Each and everyone goes above and beyond to make your visit the best it can be. They take their time and are very patient to make sure the job is done right.
