Dr. Shany Park received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Harvard University with honors. After graduation, she pursued specialized postdoctoral training and received a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Columbia University. She believes in continuing her education and keeps up with current advancement in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. She is currently teaching at Columbia University as an Assistant Clinical Professor, and at Northwell Medical Center as an attending.
Dr. Park is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, Harvard Society for Advancement of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association and the Nassau County Dental Society.
Dr. Park is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, an honor earned by less than a third of practicing orthodontists. This status is achieved only after the successful completion of a clinical examination, after attaining a board eligible status. ABO Board Certification is a voluntary credential that represents an orthodontists personal and public commitment to the standards of specialty practice and lifelong learning.
Nicoles journey at NYBraces started when she was 16! Nicoles hard work has made her our office manager. Not only does she manage the office, she also is our treatment/financial coordinator. Talk about a triple threat!! Nicole graduated from SUNY Old Westbury with a bachelors in business administration. When shes not in the office, you can find her at our nearest taco bell.
Dennise started working for Dr. Park in 2020 and is currently a senior in high school. She is planning to attend Queens College in the fall. In the time she has been working here, shes been helping her coworkers around the clock with a variety of jobs. When shes not at work, youll find her at the tennis court!
For the past two years, she worked as a patient care coordinator. She is currently in her second year, studying at SUNY Farmingdale to become a dental hygienist. She likes to go to the city and try new restaurants and her favorite pastime is going go-karting with her sister. She is always laughing and keeps a positive vibe in our office. If you cant find her here, she is probably in line at the local Starbucks.
Amber is no stranger to the orthodontic world. Her mother worked here for over 20 years and she now upholds her legacy. She graduated from The University of Brockport with a double Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration and Marketing. She started in our office as our Patient Care Coordinator and recently got her dental assisting certification at NCC. She is definitely the energy of the office! When shes not at work, you can find her at the beach with her dog Nala.
Keyris started working for Dr. Park back in 2016 and she is the glue that holds our lab together, or maybe thats her hair. She loves interacting with our patients and seeing their smiles transform! She is currently in school to become a Surgical Technician. You can catch her singing and dancing throughout the office with an iced coffee in hand.

Staff is so friendly and organized and Dr. Park always takes the time to answer all my questions. My Invisalign treatment was transferred to her office after my previous orthodontist moved out of state and the transition was seamless Im glad I was able to switch to her office. Parking is available which is a plus for any Queens office. Ive never had to wait long for my appointment unlike other offices.

the receptionist is so rude! i asked her a question regarding my treatment plan and she just scoffed and showed attitude as if i wasn't allowed to ask her anything. i am not here for a free consultation, i am a patient paying them for at least a decent service. i chose this place because almost all the reviews were boasting about this establishment but i am left feeling very disappointed. i am not sure how one is supposed to feel comfortable in such an environment. very unprofessional!

Dr. Park is a fabulous orthodontist. She really knows what she's doing and explains things well. She even coordinated with my daughters regular dentist to keep him up to date. The staff are great too and we have never had to wait during an appointment. I would highly recommend.

I am extremely happy to have come to see Dr Park. I have been a patient here for 3 years. I loved the fact that I didn't have to use old conventional braces. She is very professional and my overbite was fixed in addition to having perfect looking teeth. I decided to do invisilign after my daughter had hers done and her teeth are so beautifully aligned and nice I decided to have mine done. After I thought I was done, Dr Park decided to get a second set of few extra invisilign, because she said it didn't come out the way she wanted. I thought really? I thought I looked fine, but who can complain with perfection? And she didn't charge me more! I am so thankful that I came here. She is a great doctor and has a courteous staff. Highly recommended.

Great experience as a first timer. I barely waited to be helped when I checked in. The staff and Dr. Shany Park were all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved how Dr. Park really took her time to explain my son's conditions with me as well as the treatment options. I had a great visit and the doctor's demeanor has really put me at ease so I highly recommend this clinic.

I've been on Invisalign with Dr. Park for a year now. She helped go over all the questions I had about my treatment and what to expect during my treatment and journey to that perfect smile I've always wanted. She has been attentive and overseeing my overall progress weekly through photos I send once a week. The wait is short when I go for my clinical checks and both Dr. Park and staff are so nice. Thank you so much for the continued care with my Invisalign treatment. Can't wait to finish :)
