Dr. Demarest is a general dentist and owner of Barnstable Dental Associates and Woods Hole Dental Associates. She has received the honor of Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, which demonstrates her longterm commitment to providing her patients with the most up-to-date treatment options and superior patient care.
She received her doctorate degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1995 and completed a one-year residency at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine with a focus on medically compromised patients, oral medicine, and pathology. Dr. Demarest received her undergraduate studies at Purdue University.
She practiced in Boston and on the Cape before establishing Barnstable Dental Associates in 1998. Dr. Demarest grew up in coastal Maine and feels right at home here on the Cape. She has two boys in grade school and enjoys being on the water, gardening and old houses.
Dr.Zawatski, DMD, is a 2007 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Temple Dental School in Pennsylvania. She is very interested in modern advancements in dentistry, as is evident with her certification in CEREC (same day ceramic restorations) and Invisalign. Dr. Zawatski is a member of the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society.
Dr. Kim graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School, and returned to Tufts to specialize in Periodontics.
Through additional continuing education and achievements Dr. Kim has been awarded Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, and Diplomate status in the International Dental Implant Association.
She was bred for therapy service and has been trained to relieve anxiety in her surroundings. Maisie was trained by a professional dog trainer Matthew White from West Yarmouth, MA - Matt spent 8 weeks with Maisie until she earned her vest.
Provide safe sedation options for patients that experience anxiety during dental treatment. Take the time to listen to your concerns, answer your questions, make sure you understand the treatment options available to you and have confidence in the options you choose. Great office, wonderful service. 10/10 would go again if I lived in the area. I chipped my tooth on vacation and I was so bummed. No one was taking anyone during the busy season. However, only 2 days in advance the receptionist Kathy was able to get an appointment for me. She sent over the paperwork quickly and worked closely with my insurance. The dentist and technician were gentle but efficient and fast fixed my tooth. My smile looks great and I have Dr. Booth, Kathy and the dental technician to thank.

I can't say enough good things about this practice. They are so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, caring and accommodating. My dental hygienist is the nicest woman and she always educates me at every visit. Dr. Demarest is hands down the most caring, calming, and skilled dentist I have ever been to. If you are looking for a dentist or hate going to the dentist this practice will make you change your mind. Thank you Woods Hole Dental Associates for the top notch care. P.s. Their Covid protocols are impeccable, I always feel completely cared for and safe during my visits.
