Dr. Woods attended Oregon State University where he received a B.S. in general science in 1994. From there he moved on to dental school at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon where he received is DMD in 1998.

I've had four appointments now, including two fillings, x-rays and cleaning. Everyone I have dealt in the practice is really great. Dr. Woods is efficient and pleasant, not heavy handed and with a great chairside manner. He explains things in a way I understood. I am incredibly anxious during dental work, yet everyone is so nice!

It's kind of strange to look forward to get dental work done. I would prefer not to for the obvious reasons. But I can say every office visit has been a great experience! After three crowns and a few fillings I appreciate the skill and care that accompanies each person at Woods Family Dentistry. The communication is always done with great clarity, and the sense of humor is always a welcomed part of the office visit. I might be a little eccentric in my description here but it's completely the truth I would recommend them to anyone!

I have been going to Woods Family Dentistry for over 15 years, after a referral from family members who also go there. Dr. Woods always makes me feel comfortable and well taken care of. His staff is excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I have complete confidence that I am getting the best quality dental care there.

Dr Woods and his staff are the best! Friendly, professional, very knowledgeable, on time and honest are just a few ways to describe the whole office. I drive from Silverton to see this dentist and he is worth every mile! I would highly recommend Woods Family Dentistry to all!

I always enjoy going to Dr. Woods and, when asked, I 100% refer friends and family to the practice. I have had previous dentists that were somewhat condescending when commenting on oral hygiene, habits, or products. Dr. Woods never comes off as having a 'judgement', and is always friendly and professional. The staff have always been courteous and make going to the dentist feel like a more natural experience - similar to just going to get your hair cut. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Woods is an amazing dentist. You couldn't ask for a better chair-side manner. The entire staff, from hygienists, to front desk persons are welcoming, courteous, professional and entirely wonderful. We live two and one half hours from Albany. It is worth the drive, in order to have such excellent dental appointment experiences. I have had trust issues with other dentists in the past. I have zero qualms about Dr. Woods and staff. I highly recommend them to family, friends, and anyone taking time to read reviews.

I won't go to anyone else. Amazing man. Wonderful staff. Funny. He's a die hard Beavers fan though. Be warned. You have to stare at horrible pictures of stickers when laying down. I keep telling him I'm going elsewhere unless he takes them down. Haven't done so yet. I keep coming back though. Love this guy.

This office has been amazing throughout my years of being a client. I feel comfortable with the entirety of the staff and enjoy the numerous jokes that are told within the short visits. They are on top of scheduling and appointments. They also won't hound you on your minimal to nonexistent flossing. I cannot think of any flaw as these guys will treat you like family.
