Dr. Gabriel Woodruff is an advanced trained general and cosmetic dentist who is dedicated to practicing exceptional dentistry for his patients. Dr. Woodruff graduated from Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry with high honors, two clinical awards and was ranked in the top 5% of his class. He was accepted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon; a dental honorary society that inducts dental professionals based on academic and clinical excellence. He was also accepted with honors into the International College of Dentists as well as ranked one of Phoenix Magazines Top Dentists in 2015.

He has gone beyond the average general dentist's training by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of Michigan in all aspects of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry and advanced restorative procedures. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, and Central Arizona Dental Association. He frequently continues his education throughout the country and is also a local member of the Spears Study Club.

Dr. Woodruff enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering for the Mission of Mercy. Dr. Woodruff feels strongly about doing his very best for each of his patients and enjoys making his patients look and feel their best.

Dr. William Boyd is a Midwest native who, after completing his BA at the University of Nebraska, moved to Arizona to continue his education at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine where he graduated with his Doctorate degree.

In 2019, the Extraordinary Performance Program recognized Dr. Boyds excellence in patient care by honoring him with the Pacific Dental Services XP Platinum Award. Dr. Boyd also devotes time each year volunteering to provide high quality dental care to under-privileged patients in our community through programs including Arizona Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, and We Serve. He is also a member of several dental organizations including the Arizona Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.

Outside of the office, Dr. Boyd enjoys spending time with his wife and dog as they prepare for the arrival of their first child. During his free time, he is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing golf.

Chelsea is an Arizona native with over 8 years of dental experience. Chelsea prides herself on her knowledge of all aspects including General, Periodontic, Endodontic, Oral Surgery, and Orthodontic dentistry. She has a wide variety of expertise from dental coding and billing to the actual performance of dental procedures and coordination between General and Specialty dentistry. Our patients know they're cared for every step of the way from their very first phone call to their 6 month cleaning. When Chelsea is not in the office, she is either traveling or spending time in town with her fianc, sisters, and dog.

Debra has been working in the dental field in different capacities for 27 years since she moved to Arizona from Northwestern Indiana. She enjoys building relationships with our patients and sharing in their smile transformations. On the weekends, Debra loves spending time with her 3 dogs, hiking the Arizona trails, and curling up with a good book.

Tina has over 25 years of experience as a dental assistant in a wide range of dentistry fields. She is an asset to our practice giving her wealth of knowledge and ability to ensure comfort for every patient. She goes above and beyond for our patients whose happiness is her first priority. Her drive for excellence is not only seen at work, but also in her personal life. She pushes herself physically by hiking daily and volunteering for organizations that help children with disabilities. Tina also enjoys traveling with her family and friends.

Lindsay has been one of Woodruff Dentals enthusiastic Hygienists for 6 years and counting. She moved to Arizona from Moorhead, MN and has her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene from Argosy University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Child Development from North Dakota State University. Lindsay is an avid traveler who enjoys yoga, wake-surfing, snowboarding and golfing.

Katharine was born and raised in Arizona and has been a dental assistant for over 15 years. Her passion is making her patients feel comfortable and confident in the highest quality care she is providing for them. She has a very bubbly and warm personality. In her leisure time, she loves to workout and maintain a healthy lifestyle and to help others to do the same. She has a son, Nathan, who is her whole heart and a little puppy named Roscoe.

Brittany has over 6 years of experience in dental hygiene. She was born and raised in Washington State, and moved to Arizona where she attended Rio Salado School of Dental Hygiene. She excelled in academics and went above and beyond to learn everything she could about patient-centered care. Brittany focuses her career on providing gentle dental hygiene services to all patients because she highly values patient comfort. She loves helping patients meet their dental needs by listening and addressing any questions and concerns they may have. When Brittany is out of the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her 1-year-old son and husband, and doing projects around the house.

Carmen received her Registered Dental Hygienist license from San Joaquin Valley College in Southern California in 2003 where she graduated on the Dean's list. Carmen began her work in the dental field as a sterilization technician and worked for an Oral Surgeon. It is this vast array of experience that makes her such a great asset in Dental Hygiene. Carmen came to Dr.Woodruff in May 2017 after relocating with her family from San Diego, Californiawhere she worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Oceanside, California for many years. Like all of Dr. Woodruff's team, Carmen stays updated on new techniques, products, services and healthcare standards with continuing education courses. In her downtime, Carmen loves spending time with her husband Mark, son Jake, and two dogs, Hurley and Ollie. On the weekends, you can find Carmen attending her son's soccer games/tournaments around the Valley and Out of State. Carmen and her family also love hitting the slopes and traveling.

Brooke has over 24 years experience as a dental hygienist. She was born and raised in Wisconsin, and moved to Chicago where she graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist from Prairie State College. Brooke is very focused on trying to provide her patients with the best possible care. She is always attending seminars to stay up to date on any and all advances in the dental field. Knowing that the dental chair can give people anxiety, Brooke strives to make sure patients receive the most comprehensive and quality care while still providing a gentle touch for a comfortable visit. Brooke mostly spends her weekends with her family attending one of her son's many sporting events; Her husband, Brad, her 11 year old son, Jake, and their two dogs.

Ivonnes dental career began in South FL where she grew up working at her uncles dental office. Its there where she fell in love with the dental field and has gained over 20 years of experience. Ivonne has worked through many front office roles throughout the years, including billing, scheduling, and management. She moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 2019 and has enjoyed working with Dr. Woodruff and his team ever since. Her goal is to provide detailed, personalized, attention to all of the patients.

At Woodruff Dental, we offer Invisalign as a treatment for patients interested in discreetly straightening their teeth.

Invisalign is a series of clear aligner trays that cover the teeth, similar to a retainer or mouth guard, but are much more discreet. At least every two weeks or so, the patient will switch to the next set in the series of Invisalign trays. With the custom aligners for each patient, Invisalign will gradually push the teeth into the right position without causing significant amounts of pain.

After creating the trays, we will then meet with the patient to ensure that they fit and that the patient understands all of the steps in the straightening process. It is important that the patient understand a few key factors about wearing Invisalign on a regular basis.

While the patient can remove Invisalign trays when necessary, the patient will want to keep them in as much as possible. The longer the patient does not wear the trays for, the longer the entire process will take. Patients need to remove the aligner trays when eating and to brush the teeth.

Patients can also remove the aligner trays to play in a sports game, give a presentation, go on a date, or while taking a photo. It is important to at least rinse the mouth after eating to keep food from getting caught in the teeth.

The patient will be able to continue through each aligner tray and follow a schedule with no surprises. By following the schedule, the patient's teeth will continue to move into the proper position without pain.

While wearing Invisalign, patients will not have to brush and floss between brackets with difficulty. In fact, the patient will be able to brush and floss as normal by just removing the aligner trays. However, it is crucial that the patient brush after each meal to keep food from sticking between the teeth.

Food that is stuck in the teeth can also damage the aligners. It is important that patients do not wear the aligners while drinking soda or other beverages while wearing Invisalign aligners. We recommend that patients only keep the aligners in when drinking water.

We customize the Invisalign aligners to fit the patient's teeth and then use programming technology to digitally map out the projected rate of movement for the patient. We will then build the rest of the clear aligners in the series. Each new set of aligners will be a bit closer to the correct position for straight teeth.

With a customized straightening treatment, patients do not need to worry about the aligners falling out or being loose. Since there is no one-size-fits-all treatment, we make sure that the trays are the right fit for each patient.
