Absolutely amazing experience. Super peaceful ambiance, comforting and detailed staff as well. I notified of my past history with dentists and stated about my anxiety and was given useful information and options for future procedures. Dr S, Desiree and Flor were who assisted me today and they are an outstanding team. Will definitely recommend.

I wasn't seen by the dentist for 2 years when I requested to the dental hygienist to be seen because of my concerns regarding my receding gum line. "You're fine, you don't need to see him" was the response I received two different times after asking to be seen by Dr. Russell and why I wasn't being seen. Well I decided to leave the practice, to seek a dentist's opinion and also because I moved away and the distance was also inconvenient. I cancel my scheduled cleaning around a week before the scheduled appointment with dr. Russell's hygienist. This was back in august. The last cleaning I had was in April. I called and asked why I received this bill, and was told by Christina that "we don't bill for cancelled appointments so let me ask someone". I was then put on hold for 5 mins before she came back and had a hard time explaining that apparently I had a balance from 2 previous cleanings, the last one being in April. The bill clearly hasn't itemized those cleanings/dates. And I never received statements before 9/15, which is 15 days before the balance being due on 9/30. I told Christina that it was impossible that I owed anything considering I've paid for every co pay when checking out of every appointment . I didn't get much of a response other than another warped explanation about my insurance coverage? They never performed any services, cleanings included of course, without collecting a copay at time of check out. I'm sure the reason I was billed was because I told the scheduler back in August that I wouldn't be coming back to the practice when she asked if I wanted to reschedule instead of cancelling. This is what I get after 3 years of loyalty to the practice. Im leaving due to the fact that the doctor never saw me when I requested to the hygienist that I be seen by the doctor twice over the course of 8 cleanings (2 years). The new dentist I've been seeing informed me that she wants me to see the periodontist of the practice because she's concerned regarding my receding gums and teeth grinding. Dr. Russel's major concern with me was getting me to buy Invisalign , an expensive product, and never ONCE mentioned anything about my teeth grinding and how that was a culprit in my gum recession. Dr. Russell never mentioned gum recession as an issue either. Dr Russell either completely missed these two major issues due to incompetence, or worse yet, he understood that I have a serious grinding problem, and wanted to milk me for the serious work that comes along with untreated teeth grinding. My new dentist was stunned when I told her that Dr. Russell never once told me he was checking for signs of grinding, and she responded that just looking at my teeth, without much inspection , a dentist would know that I have serious grinding issues that are catastrophic for my dental and periodontal health. Dr. Russell convinced me that the fractures on my teeth were from my teeth being misaligned and therefore I NEEDED Invisalign or else my teeth would continue to crack. They kept cracking despite the Invisalign treatment because that wasn't my underlying problem. thankfully a more careful/caring doctor was able to spot this serious problem. Now I'm having to make up for 3 years of inadequate dental care. Don't go to Dr. Russell if you want to keep your gums and teeth in decent health, and you're not saving money with him just because he takes insurance. I paid the $85 because I'll dispute it with Amex anyway, this bill is clearly fraudulent. Take this review as a warning.

DR Michelle Snodgress,DDS and her staff Hygienic Assistant Flora were very thorough, careful, kind, and professional, I had a very pleasant experience at the Tamarac Office. I went there worried about the procedure for a fallen bridge. I was worried about the pain I might endure physically and financially but They worked with me on both levels and all turned out great. Looking forward to my next visit to see the final result.

4/25/2022--Yrly. Hygiene Visit--New associates at the front desk reception area were welcoming. Greeted me in a friendly fashion when I arrived. I arrived pretty close to my appt. time. Only had about 5 minutes wait time before starting my appt. which was not bad at all. Of course, hygienist tried to crack my smile when I prepared for cleaning. Hygienist was friendly and did a good job with the cleaning process. Job well done! Chan H.
