We have a dedicated area with state-of-the-art sterilization technology, where every instrument is wrapped, disinfected, and made ready before your visit. We also sanitize each room between patients, and we use a closed water system (rather than everyday tap water). Additionally, we perform weekly spore testing with a third party infection control center. On top of all that, we have a special hand washing station for your health and safety. We worry about the cleanliness of our office so youll never have to!

Dr. Brett Murphey was born and raised in the Houston area. He completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M in Biomedical Science, and he taught 9th grade science at Eisenhower High School before becoming a dentist. He was well-liked by his students, and he was even awarded Teacher of the Month by the student body Mr. February!
Dr. Murphey graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston at the top of his class, with honors. In addition to being elected Class President, he excelled in patient relations, hand clinical skills and was well-liked by his peers. On a mission for continuous improvement in all endeavors in his life, Dr. Murphey holds himself to a high standard of excellence. He believes in surrounding himself with a superstar team at Woodlands Family Dental to help him be the best he can. As part of his pursuit of excellence, Dr. Murphey has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education in such areas as cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, implant and sedation dentistry.
Dr. Murphey is friendly, he loves what he does, and he aims to get things done right the first time. To help him accomplish this, he listens to his patients expectations and strives to accommodate each individuals routine and restorative cosmetic dentistry needs.
In his personal life, Dr. Murphey and his wife Crystal have three beautiful children together; Elizabeth, Brett Aaron and Corbin! Dr. Murphey has traveled to Mexico, Nicaragua, and Guatemala where he provides dental care to impoverished areas and serves hundreds of orphans. He also enjoys driving cars at Texas World Speedway, boating on Lake Conroe, skiing, scuba diving and is consistently involved in a mens Bible study. Dr. Murphey looks forward to getting to know you and your family too!

Dr. Spencer D. Peoples is originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, and has been in Texas for the last two years after moving from Arizona. After graduating from New Mexico Military Institute and New Mexico State University, he attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, one of three Ivy League dental institutions. Following this, Dr. Peoples completed a one year general practice residency at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine where he gained additional training in several specialities including anesthesiology, endodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery, among others.
Dr. Peoples has been practicing for over 10 years and is highly skilled in a wide range of dental treatments and procedures, from full mouth reconstruction and smile makeovers to Invisalign, implants, root canals, extractions, and same-day inlays, onlays, and crowns made in office. Continually seeking to hone his expertise, Dr. Peoples is extremely active in attending various continuing education opportunities.
Dr. Peoples prides himself on excellent patient care that not only meets, but exceeds expectations. He respects his patients and understands that everyones oral health needs are different. Dr. Peoples will always listen and create a personalized treatment plan designed to address the goals and unique dental health of each patient.
Dr. Peoples is married to his beautiful wife, Megan, and has three children and a new Vizsla puppy. In his spare time, Dr. Peoples enjoys being involved with his church, exploring Texas, cooking, and any outdoor activities that keep him active with his family.

2022 update Dr Peoples explained what dentists have been telling me to do for years, in a way that I could understand. The office is organized so well that when I called with tooth pain Dr Peoples saw me the very next morning. 2015 Stephanie has been my dental hygienist for 5+ years. She is talented at cleaning without ever hurting or scratching any part of my mouth. She is super focused on details. Stephanie made my night guard fit better than any I had before. Also,she encouraged me in the nicest way to take better care of my teeth. She even showed me on the x-rays how following her instructions had added mineralization to my teeth compared to two years ago. The dentists were super friendly and efficient when I had to get a filling years ago. The office staff are always friendly, organized, and prompt. I have never had to wait for my cleaning or even the dentist.

I mistakenly made a consultation appointment when I wanted a cleaning and they were able to fit me in for a cleaning. The hygienist Adrienne was so sweet! I forgot the doctors name but she was nice and both were so informative. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and I forgot the name of the lady that helped me with my payment and explaining what my insurance covered her name started with an A I believe but she was very sweet as well. I'm ready to take better care of my teeth and im glad to have such a caring and friendly group to help me!

Best dentist office in south Texas. Made me feel welcome & comfortable right away, and gave me through advice and steps to receive care. I wouldn't go anywhere else! I had three wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Peoples and he made it such a non-traumatic operation. If you have any sort of dental anxiety or have a child with dental anxiety take them here! They are so, so patient and so care oriented.

I've had severe anxiety with dentists in my past. So far...fingers crossed...this team is very accommodating and concerned and caring and personal and friendly. I'm really hoping they can change my mind about "going to the dentist". I'm 58 and know how important oral care is. This team knows that importance too. Looking forward to a long term relationship.

Good place/Environment and most of all the staff were very friendly. This my first time in this Dental Clinic but it seems to me that I've been here as a Patient for a long time ago. I felt very welcome not just as Patient but as a human being . Kudos to Dr. Shana Parrilla who did a fantastic/Super job in extracting my infected 3 rd molar tooth. I was suffering for more than 3 days now. Thank God Dr. Shana Parrilla was there as my natural Guardian Angel. Again, Thank You Woodlands Dental Clinic staff.

If I could give this place 100 stars out of 100 I would. I had a loose tooth and they were able to fit me in and repair it in the morning the next day while being very emotionally supportive and informative. Highly recommend.
