Very professional, and gentle. They were very accommodating considering the pain I was in, they did not hesitate to get me taken care of right then while others I reached out to had me scheduled for 6 weeks later. Could not be more satisfied with service, and professionalism they provided, highly recommend. Thank you! Mark

Woodlands Endodontics was the best experience I have ever had with a dental issue. They were very patient, listened to my concerns, and worked me in around my schedule. Then I got a call afterwards to find out how I was doing. I highly recommend them to anyone with a dental emergency.

After discovering I needed a root canal I was referred to Dr. Pappas. I am an anxious dental patient and informed Dr. Pappas of this. He explained the process of what to expect with the root canal. He made sure I was comfortable the day of the procedure. Dr. Pappas and his assistant Jennifer made the procedure much less intense than I expected. The only pain I experienced was when I received the initial numbing injections. I would highly recommend Dr. Pappas to anyone with dental anxiety.

There are not enough words to express my appreciation for everyone at this practice! After too much work on my #2 molar (crown replacement that severely inflamed my roots) and a constant 10/10 pain for a week, I was referred to Woodlands Endodontics by my regular dentist. I left a tearful message at 5pm on a Thursday afternoon worried that I would have to go an entire weekend in 10/10 pain. Thankfully, Dr. Pappas called me back within 3 minutes and had given me advice on how to get through the night and squeezed me in for an early morning evaluation the next day. When I arrived the next morning for the evaluation (in tears again), the entire staff was so nice and understanding of my situation. Dr. Pappas fit in a partial root canal to give me some relief over the weekend until I could come back on Monday to finish. His calm demeanor and talking me through the process made me feel well cared for along with his assistant and front desk staff all worked to make sure my situation was taken care of and I felt the best I could after my procedure. Thank you Dr. Pappas, and all of your staff, for your extremely compassionate care and understanding- I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for my endodontic needs.

This place is top notch! I would highly recommend Dr. Pappas if you would like to save your teeth. I am very particular when choosing a dentist/endodontist and he gets 5 out of 5 stars. The office staff and hygienists are also wonderful. Thank you all for a job well done!

Dr. Pappas and his extremely experienced assistant were fabulous. Dr. Pappas ( with my complete consent) took a risk treating a tooth that was in very "guarded" condition. My experience was excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Pappas to anyone who may need root canal services. Linda (Cookie) Dubois

I cannot even begin to tell you what a wonderful experience that I had. My paperwork was barely done and they called me back. Jennifer explained everything that she was going to do and was so friendly. Then the doctor came in. 33 years old! This man is new to the Woodlands, from New York. I have never had an experience like I did this morning. To my knowledge and in only an hour and a half I felt that he knew his stuff, he is kind and works well with others. I am so happy. I am out of pain and can I tell you I dozed off while he had my mouth wide open working!?!? Have you ever heard of such a thing?? They said that's a compliment. LOL! Simply Amazing!! I hope to never have to experience another root canal but if I do this is definitely the place!!! Thank you to the kind staff, Jennifer and Dr Nicholas Pappas!!!

Dr. Mize runs a truly professional practice. He takes the time to explain every detail of the procedure in a effort to calm patients that are nervous about root canals. The root canal itself; completely painless procedure, done in less than 45 mins. If you need a root canal, I would suggest this Dr. Mize over any other denist out there.

Dr. Selden is by far the BEST Doctor I've ever had in my life! My expectations were not high for this appointment but him and his assistant Jennifer were so caring and fun. They made the appointment a breeze. Dr. Selden does talk a lot and he forewarned me but he treated me as if I was 5 and this was my very first dental appointment and I am so grateful for it! Being someone who is anxious about needles and anything to do with teeth, he made sure I knew everything that was going to happen step by step, managed pain thoroughly, and kept it light. Anyone and everyone should definitely visit the Woodlands Endotontics for the best experience. I paid a fair price for my root canal and the staff is just fantastic! Thank you so much Dr. Selden and Jennifer!!

10 out of 10 absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND! I was told they were in network with my insurance and come to find out they were not. They tried to charge me TWICE the amount for procedures, I called insurance to verify the amounts they were trying to charge me and found out the dr was not in network and they were overcharging me. When I called the office to ask them about this, they told me they have their own fee schedule, that the dr is in network, they are working on his credentials and that he would be in network with my insurance in OCTOBER, it's September....what good does that do me right now? The office manager argued with me, told me she had other patients to deal with and she ended the call. Displeased is an understatement..... if you want to be lied to, argued with and over charged by HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS, then this is the right place. Have fun!

This review is long overdue. I saw Dr. Selden a few years back. First, I had a root canal with a local general dentist in The Woodlands who used to be in practice here. He had assured me he was qualified to do the procedure after telling me that there were no appointments at the local endodontists' offices and I was traveling outside the country in 5 days. Some weeks later the pain returned and I went back to the original dentist for the last time since I lost faith in his abilities. I next went to a Houston endodontist referred by my previous Houston dentist. He 'redid' the root canal with ultrasonic waves penetrating deeper than the prior work to try to remove any debris which could have been left behind and put in antibiotics to see if maybe there was an infection at the base of the root. Went back again with continued pain and he retreated. Mind you this was costing another full root canal price. Before he resealed it I went to see Dr. Selden locally for a 3rd opinion. He said he thought he could get to the base with a tool he had and he was willing to give it a try. I discussed this with the Houston endodontist on the phone and he said it wouldn't work because ultrasound was the best at getting to the deepest tip of the root. Since if the pain didn't improve I could lose a tooth I decided to give Dr. Selden a chance. Well, here I am 3-4 years later with my tooth! Dr. Selden was successful! His genuine concern for my predicament after seeing two other dentists was refreshing. Not every dentist is willing to take care of other dentists' train wrecks. This was not about money but about trying to help a patient save a tooth. As a physician I appreciate Dr. Selden's compassion and real desire to help me. I could not recommend him more highly! I have read the other reviews about the office staff and cannot comment but I will say don't let that keep you away. Your quality dental care is more important than the office's challenges or a deposit required for a consult. Unfortunately, generally, people are less courteous everywhere these days. Remember if you lose your tooth like I almost did you'll be looking at having an implant which can cost thousands of dollars. Dr. Selden is excellent and so experienced! Thank you Dr. Selden!

I'll start off by saying this, my expectations weren't the highest, nor did I initially feel comfortable coming here, as my root canal appointment was scheduled through LHI. But when I arrived, I quickly changed my mind. My first impression of Dr. Selden was incredibly positive. He was very talkative, very energetic, answered all my questions, and assured me the process would be quick and painless. Unfortunately, I was asked to come back again, for my dental records weren't properly sent over. I thought "oh well, it's no problem," and drove home and rescheduled. Now, I was already anxious, and rescheduling the appointment and giving myself more time to worry definitely didn't make things easier. However, when I came back a second time for the operation, Dr. Selden went over the things we had talked about almost an ENTIRE month prior, and I noticed he truly cares about his patients. He reassured me the process would be quick and, once again I felt a little better about it. The operation was over in a little over 45 minutes or so, and just like he had said, it was easy and painless! I would definitely recommend this location to anyone I know, no matter where you live (I lived 2 hours away and the drive was worth it). So, if you're looking for an endodontist who is professional, experienced, and cares about his patients, ask for Dr. Selden. Thank you very much!
