Dr. Sara Gomez obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University in Boston, where she was a recipient of the Tufts Merit Scholarship and received recognition on the Deans Honor Roll for her performance on the National Board Dental Examination.
Dr. Gomez is a board eligible candidate of American Board of Endodontics. She received her Certificate in Endodontics from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Dr. Sara Gomez is Certified in IV sedation and oral sedation. As an endodontic resident, she won an award for her published dental research involving trauma and dental cell survival.
Her interest in general dentistry and endodontics began with an emergency visit to the dental office. She was so grateful to her dentist for alleviating her dental pain by performing a root canal therapy that she decided to pursue a profession in dentistry.
As she shadowed her general dentist and volunteered in many dental outreach programs, she became increasingly excited about the path that she had chosen. Having had a root canal herself, she understands what her patients anticipate and experience. This allows her to provide the highest standard of professional care in a friendly and comfortable environment.
