Dr. Dennis Fahey is a graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry and holds a business degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison. He completed a post-graduate General Practice Residency program at City Hospital and Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore prior to entering private practice.

His wealth of experience includes a ten-year teaching position at Marquette School of Dentistry, the Presidency of Component and Constituent American Dental Association and Wisconsin Academy of General Dentistry groups, fellowship in two prestigious dental organizations and numerous professional and civic representations. He also has a long-standing relationship with the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Haiti where he has traveled many times to volunteer his services.

Dr. Fahey and his wife Jane have raised three children, Meredith, Meghan and Martin, who enjoy rewarding careers. Dr. Faheys interests include golf, travel, Haitian Art, all U of WI athletic events, Brewers baseball and any activity with his children and grandchildren.

Dr. Derek OConnell, is originally from Eau Claire. He attended the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh,receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. During his time there, he was a member of the UW-Oshkosh cross country and track and field teams all four years. His passion for running and athletic performance led him to pursue a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. He then coached collegiate cross country and track and field at Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. Wanting to follow the footsteps of his grandfather, Dr. OConnell continued hisstudies and graduated from the University of Louisville Dental School, with a Health Professions Scholarship with the Army.

Following dental school, he was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army and served as a general dentist at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. With a focus on exodontia in the Army, Dr. OConnell completed Oral Maxillofacial Residency externships and mentored local anesthesia courses. Working mainly with young recruits with little dental backgrounds, Dr. OConnell enjoyed getting patients out of pain and easing them in their dental care. After four years of active duty Army service, Dr. OConnell is excited to make Kenosha his home and help his patients achieve a healthy, beautiful smile in a comfortable environment. Dr. OConnell is a member of both the American Dental Association and Wisconsin Dental Association.

Dr. Meghan OConnell is a Kenosha native and excited to be back in her hometown. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin with degrees in biology and business and continued her education at Marquette University, where she attended dental school. During dental school, Dr. OConnell was awarded a Health Professions Scholarship with the Army and commissioned into the Army as an officer. After graduating from dental school, Dr. OConnell completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Fort Benning, GA. During this year, she specialized in all aspects of dentistry and garnered a strong dental foundation. Dr. OConnell continued to practice general dentistry at Fort Leonard Wood, MO, followed by deployment, providing dental care to Soldiers in Iraq.

She went on to attend the University of Louisville for her orthodontic residency, graduating with a Masters Degree in Dentistry and a Certificate in Orthodontics. Following her specialized training, Dr. OConnell continued her military service as an orthodontist at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX, where she provided all types of orthodontic treatment, with an emphasis on severe malocclusions. She mentored and served as faculty at the San Antonio Military Medical Center Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program and Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program in San Antonio. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and WI Dental Association. Dr. OConnell enjoys working with patients to create beautiful smiles and finds gratification in seeing the confidence a beautiful smile creates.

After ten years in the Army, she is excited to be back home to help you create the smile you deserve. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children, Claire and Ethan, traveling, and cheering on WI sports and the Louisville Cardinals.
