Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. They are fantastic. Had been to multiple dentists who could not figure out what was wrong with my tooth. Several dentists prior to Woodland Smiles recommended extraction. Dr. Bianca recommended a root canal and it fixed the problem and saved my tooth!! The best!

Came to Sacramento for a wedding then work and ended up having to go to the dentist for a root canal. It was a two part procedure. I suffer from severe dentaphobia. I was given premeds but my anxiety was warring with the meds. The staff, Sheila, Katie, Za, the endodontist, Dr. Mindy and my dentist, Dr. Bianca, were professional and caring. I probably would've passed out without the care given by Sheila and Katie. For someone who would rather suffer than visit a dentist, I give this office 10 stars!, even I would make a return visit. Highly recommend! They are caring, patient, explain every step of the way what is occurring and constantly consulted with me about my anxiety and pain level.

Jeannette Tawarari is an excellent hygienist. Woodland Smiles is lucky to have her. She's gentle and thoughtful during deep cleanings, and she checks in often on her patient to make sure they're comfortable. She does nice work!

Wow! I can surely say with 100% confidence this practice is one of the best I've been. Dr. Bianca was amazing! The level of attentiveness she and her assistant gave is unmatched. 10 out of 10. Dr. Bianca & Lisa make a team so in sync it was great to watch. Her other assistant Tish assisted Dr. Bianca & Lisa with my 360 whitening, and was amazing. I will surely be back. Keep up the amazing work!
