Dr. Shanne Sastiel was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Sastiel then went on to attend the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) and later his Masters degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences, as well as his postgraduate training and certificate in Periodontics. During his time at UCSF, he received the prestigious award for Outstanding Achievement in Periodontics by the American Academy of Periodontics.
Dr. Sastiels passion in dentistry stems from his desire to educate and care for patients. Dr. Sastiel believes that the highest quality of dental care can only be achieved through the communication and trust between doctor and patient. I've been coming here since before the previous DDS (Dr. Gottleib) retired. But Dr. Leila and her entire staff are top-notch, super friendly, and extremely professional. Everybody has excellent 'chair side manner.' I'm very happy I returned to this office after moving back to the San Fernando Valley, and will definitely be returning. Huge thanks to the entire staff!

I was in extreme pain the other day and was looking for an emergency dentist. My google search brought up this office. At 2:30 in the morning I was able to make an appointment online that same morning at 8:30 am. I came in crying and Cat and Stephanie were so caring and understanding. They were patient and kind and got me in right away. Dr. Sarah was amazing and got me out of pain. The entire office staff was absolutely amazing!! Thank you everyone for all your help and kindness. I would recommend this practice and I will now be a permanent patient here. Thank you again!

I hate the dentist but everyone here is wonderful so it makes up for actually having to come lol. For real they treat you with welcome arms , the hygienist is a little tough but it's also been a while since I've been to the dentist so I'm sure she had to put in extra work. This is one of the rare dental offices that does phenomenal work, and doesn't try to sell you anything unnecessary. Everyone is very gentle on the teeth, and very friendly as well. I've tried many dentists in the area over the years, and I never return because of poor experiences. I finally found a keeper! Overall excellent experience! Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful experience at this dental office. Cat at the front desk was so incredibly warm and friendly, and efficiently helped me with finding a convenient time for my appointment. Bella was so gentle with taking my x-rays, and Fariba did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth and educating me on how to take better care of my teeth. And lastly, Dr. Leila was very attentive to my concerns and delegated a treatment plan to address everything. I feel well taken care of by such a great team of professionals who know what they're doing! I highly recommend this dental office. 10/10

I'm new to the Woodland Hills area and I had THE BEST experience I've had in a dental office in YEARS. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Leila Putnam-Saedi. The staff at Woodland Hills Dental Care was very friendly, very accommodating and very welcoming. They make you feel right at home. Dr. Putnam-Saedi's Assistant is very professional and very personable. I got my teeth cleaned and undoubtedly, the best Dental hygienist experience I've ever had. She was super kind, super personable; she gave me great tips on maintaining great dental hygiene. I would recommend this office to everyone!

I only write reviews when I feel they are well deserved and Woodland Hills Dental Care deserves the highest rating possible. I was terrified of dentist my entire life of 58 years. I had so many bad experiences with highly rated dentist in Westwood, Beverly Hills, Woodland Hills and other places in Southern California until I met Dr. Leila Saedi and her amazing team! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Leila and her staff, Cat , Stephanie, Ovsanna, Natsumi, Raffie, and the rest! They make me laugh when I go in. They are always happy to me and have a positive atmosphere that makes a huge difference in the way I walk in. They understand the anxiety people like me have with dentist and are very sympathetic and empathetic! After my fist visit for a x-rays, and a cleaning, Dr.Leila explained all my options for improving my smile. I decided to straighten my teeth with Invisalign. They have the actual 3D scanner to get 6,000 images per second of your teeth so the Invisalign trays fit perfect. (Other dentist make 3D molds but that is old technology!). Payment options allowed me to invest in my smile. Also, one day I was there when Dr. Sastiel, (an oral surgeon/periodontist who comes in once a month), was there. I had a back molar that was pulled 3 years earlier and I was procrastinating on the implant for years. Dr.Leila mentioned he was there and could do a consult for the implant. I agreed but was in no mood to even think about the procedure. Dr. Sastiel took a look and said he could put the implant in in 20 minutes. I let him do the implant and was done without pain in 22 minutes. And the staff came in to support me and gave me so much confidence. This is not your average dental office. In fact their name doesn't even mention "dental clinic", it's "DENTAL CARE". And I could not some up this wonderful place and the staff any better! IGIVE THEM 10 stars!
