Dr. Sunnshine Welton has completed additional training in pediatrics and orthodontics, and is well known for her gentle touch and empathetic demeanor with children. In addition to general practice, Dr. David Welton regularly performs dental surgeries, with a particular interest in dental implant placement. He enjoys complex cases and empowering our patients to reach their dental goals. Our team's philosophy is to love our patients like family.

As a working mother of two small children, she understands the challenges that parents face when trying to provide optimum oral care for a child while facing lifes many challenges. She has a way with children that comes from being an experienced parent herself.For adult patients who are apprehensive or phobic, Dr. Sunnys small hands and empathetic demeanor make dental care enjoyable.

Sunnshine has also had additional training and experience in pediatrics and orthodontics that allow her to better evaluate children for growth, dental, and behavioral problems than your average general dentist.

She has been the childrens dental health advocate for Fergus County Dental Society for the past 7 years working closely with Headstart and the Sealants for Smiles Program. In addition to participating in Give Kids a Smile every year during her career, she also helped implement dental care at the Fort Peck Indian Reservation with the donation of equipment, supplies and time.

Dentistry is a natural fit for Dr. Douglass McArthur as he blends his talent to create with his desire to serve. Not only does he get great satisfaction from providing quality care and improving oral health, he also loves the personal interaction and friendships he builds with his patients. Besides, dentistry provides a captive audience for his joke of the day.

Dr. McArthur majored in Spanish, minored in Chemistry, with an unofficial emphasis in outdoor recreation at BYU. He returned to his home state to complete his doctor degree at West Virginia School of Dentistry. To further his education and serve his country, he joined the US Army and ran a remote clinic during his deployment to Afghanistan. He has over ten years of dental experience.

Cierra has always had a heart for the dental field and started her journey as an assistant in 2013. She later moved to the business aspect of dentistry and has enjoyed every minute of it. Cierra joined our practice in 2018 and will do her best to make sure all your needs are met and questions are answered. Cierra appreciates when patients ask hard questions because she loves helping patients understand. When Cierra is not taking care of our patients, she can be found with her fur baby Rufus and studying for classes as a full time student.

Brandi has been in the dental field since 2015. She finished her bachelor's in Business Accounting and loves applying her knowledge to make sure all of our patients' needs are met. Brandi enjoys being able to help our patients and see their smiling faces before they leave our office. On her off days, Brandi is a busy mom of three adored children. You can see Brandi cheering on her kiddos at soccer and basketball games, or in the great outdoors: camping, boating, or four wheeling.

Kylee has been in the dental field since 2014 as a registered dental assistant. She is now using the countless years of experience as Woodland Family Dental's treatment coordinator. Kylee will guide you through your treatment plan making sure you are entirely aware of the procedure and finances. In her spare time she enjoys physical activities like hiking, hunting, and running with her bird dog; Jake.

Megan has been in the dental field since 2014 and her heart for dentistry has never wavered. She is most passionate when patients come in with dental needs that our office is able to fix with beautiful permanent results. Megan loves her work family and is dedicated to our patients. When away from the office, she is studying to further her education and spending moments with her family and new fur baby, Norman.

Octavia joined the dental field in 2019 and we are lucky shes been with Woodland the entire time! Her favorite part of working in the dental field is the chance to exceed patients expectations, with the hands-on knowledge she gained directly from our Doctors. Octavia is our southern bell and values her family time outside of the office.
