Dr. Maxx Nguyen received his DDS from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry (UCSF), and his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Nguyen adheres to the philosophy of 'treating others the way I would want to be treated' while educating patients about their treatment plans and possible options when indicated. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Sacramento District Dental Society. His hobbies include camping, travel, photography, golf and spending time with his wife and kids.

Dr. Nyugen and his staff have been extremely helpful for both me and my husband. I have extensive work that needs to be done after neglecting my dental health for quite some time. Judy has helped me navigate getting the needed care through Dr. Nyugen, the orthodontist, and the needed specialists. The staff have offered advice on how to best tackle the fears I have and put me at ease. I actually look forward to seeing the difference in my dental health at the end of this process!

My family and I have been seeing Maxx Nguyen DDS. for almost 10 years and I have referred many of my co-workers. Maxx and staff are family friendly and very professional. They will give it to you straight and you never feel pressured, We are always pleased with his work ethic and very professional and friendly demeanor. We started coming here and the staff have been wonderful. The dentist -Dr. Nguyen was very thorugh and pleasant. My dental hygienist- Gabby was very gentle and kind. Explained the entire procedure and the aftercare. I highly recommend them bevause of the staff and the modern technology they use that makes it easy to get your teeth cleaned.

Good Afternoon Just would like to say that Maxx and Jenny Dental office is the bestest dentist that I know off..I and many family meme era have been coming to this Dentist for over 20+ plus years.. from when Dr Dexter Quiggle was there and now Maxx..All the staff from front desk to back are so friendly and make you feel so comfortable...never had any issues with billing or any work done...Definitely a family oriented place ...would always recommend..The place is so clean beautifully set up...very welcoming with the holidays and decor..I have a family member who's insurance does not cover going there..and pays out of pocket just to be seen here for any work done..!!...Thank you for all your service..

I've been coming here since I moved to Woodland. I moved to Sacramento last year and still come here for dental appointments. The staff are all very friendly and professional. I've been coming here since I moved to Woodland. I moved to Sacramento last year and still come here for dental appointments. The staff are all very friendly and professional. It's always a pleasure to chat with them. I love my dental hygienist too. She's always very thorough and does a great job cleaning my teeth. Pain free. :)

I hate going to the dentist, but don't mind driving from elk grove to woodland to have the folks at woodland dental work on my teeth. These are some of the best in the business kind, concerned, efficient etc This is a well run establishment the employees are relaxed as is the office. Give them a try j knight

My family and I have been going to Woodland Dental for over 15 years. Dr. Nguyen and his staff are very professional, yet personable. My dental hygienist Jeanette is exceptional! She is very thorough and explains all the procedures well. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a great dentist!

Dr Nguyen is the best! I have been coming to his office for a long time now have brought both of my daughters here. He is very conservative I have never got that feeling I've gotten at "other" dentists that he is out to make a buck. He is straight foreword with his explanations and treatments. You never have to wait the office is always running on time. The staff is amazing Michelle and Judy are always straight foreword with treatment plans. Great dentist I recommend to all of my friends.

My family and I have been coming to Woodland Dental for more than 15 years and we wouldn't have it any other way! Completely worth the drive from Carmichael. The staff is friendly, personable and professional. Teeth cleanings are a breeze and Dr. Nguyen is the master! He is so skilled, up on the latest and very good with pain management- always checking to make sure we're comfortable during procedures. I highly recommend this office for quality,pain free dental care.
