Woodlake Orthodontics is a fantastic, trusted business for your orthodontics needs. The Invisalign process was always smooth and seamless from start to finish. The staff was friendly, professional, and knew exactly what they were doing. Would highly recommend!

So...Invisalign or braces are not the most glamorous or fun things to have. And, add Covid to the mix and it's, frankly, a PAIN. BUT, Dr Bolmgren and his team are wonderful and make the experience so much easier. Dr B is kind, considerate and thoughtful and literally went out of his way to put me at ease after a tricky first appointment. His highly skilled assistants do a fantastic job, too. The only challenge right now is scheduling. Appointments are booked way out, and it is somewhat frustrating that you can't book more in advance (they like to check progress before you set the time to return, which makes sense.) Be prepared for many, many visits - if you're not going to want that, then reconsider any sort of ortho treatment, frankly! My 4* instead of 5* is because the front desk definitely needs more support - another team member is sorely needed to help with the obvious workload. I found that I needed to be hyper vigilant about asking questions on timing and confirming my own appointments. And I also realized that I could ask questions about my treatment plan - that it wasn't all locked into stone and they were flexible about that. My advice is to go with the flow. However, also communicate clearly about what is and what is not working for you, as that helps them help you. Dr B genuinely cares about you and wants the best experience. I certainly felt like I gained a friend in the process, and am grateful for their care.

If we weren't already down the road, and have paid them a ton of money already, we would be somewhere else. Today, they berated my wife, because I lost my job, and we had to switch insurance. We called them to tell them we had new insurance. We got their vociemail, and left a detailed message. Today, it was a HUGE issue. In the last three months, I have not spoken to a person there. They never answer their phones, and when we are physically there, they are always "to busy" to talk. I have two more kids that will need braces and such, we will NOT be getting them here. If anyone there would like to talk to me, please call me. Because calling you does not work, and no one there seems to give a sh!t. My name is Craig Franzen.

My daughter was seen for over 4 months last year. Managers insisted we have to follow the contract and pay all the money regardless of COVID causing them to be closed. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

Woodlake Ortho bought out Ortho Care Specialists and apparently HAVE GHOSTED THE OCS PATIENTS entirely. We have paid literally thousands of dollars for work that is nowhere near complete and they have ignored numerous messages to try to schedule appointments. It's been 4 months since my son had an ortho appt and Covid is no longer a valid excuse.

They do not have set hours which makes it very confusing and frustrating when trying to schedule or contact with questions about treatment. HIPAA is not taken seriously here they still use paper charts in most of the locations, and have charts just out in the open for the world to see. The last time I was in the Maple Grove office they had box labeled 2004 charts sitting in the hallway OUTSIDE the office. I contacted them with my concerns through their website but never heard back from anyone. They used to be efficent with experienced staff, but they had a major staff change. New staff is inexperienced wait times are longer and appointments take longer then we scheduled. I used to get updates but not anymore. I would rather drive farther and go to a different location to get a more experienced staff and treatment updates. Wouldn't recommend this business only go here because they take my insurance.

DONT GO HERE! I spent thousands of dollars on braces and not only did they refuse to give me the last set of adjustments after I paid them in full, but they said that they wouldn't give me retainers until i signed something saying I was satisfied with service. I had to either sign it or let my teeth slip back to how they were... These people are the least professional I have ever seen. I don't write bad reviews ever, but this place deserves it. All I wanted was a retainer and I said I would pay whatever price for it. Now I take my business to more professional places and it's been working much better over the last 2 years.

The techs and orthodontist always explain everything very clearly to my son and make him feel that he is in charge of his care (and as a result he takes better care of his teeth and braces). It is a welcoming environment, never overly crowded, appointments are on time and efficient. All of the billing was clearly outlined from the start, and they took the headache out of trying to figure out insurance. It's a great neighborhood business and I highly recommend it.
