Dr. Anita Verma was born in New York City and raised in the suburbs of Princeton, New Jersey. She attended New York University in an accelerated BA- DDS program where she obtained her undergraduate and graduate education. After graduating from NYU, Dr. Verma completed a general practice residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Verma moved to the Chicagoland area after getting married and now practices at Woodlake Family dental. Dr. Vermas practice philosophy is based upon extreme excellence. It is Woodlake family dentistrys commitment to achieving beautiful, healthy and long-lasting smiles in a comfortable and safe setting.

Dr. Amit Sud was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He attended University of Washington where he obtained his BSc in cellular and molecular biology. Dr. Sud then attended New York University for his dental degree. Dr. Sud also attended Kellog School of Management at NorthWestern in Chicago where he obtained a certificate in the executive management program for dentist. Dr. Sud and his wife Dr. Anita Verma are the owners of Woodlake Family Dental, Dr. Sud practices in all phases of dentistry.

Anthony J Reganato is a Private Practice Periodontist and Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Originating out of Long Island, NY, he attended New York University College of Dentistry for his DDS Degree, continuing on with a 2-year GPR Residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Queens, NY.

Dr. Saleem Siddiqui joined our practice the spring of 2014. Native to Chicago, Dr. Sal received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University in 2007 and his post graduate degree in his specialty from St. Barnabas Hospital in New York.

Dr. Li received her dental degree from Capital University of Medical Sciences, in Beijing, China. She then studied in the area of bone biology at the University of Connecticut Health Center where she received her Ph.D. degree. She later on attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she completed 3 years of orthodontic specialty training and a master degree in oral science. Dr. Li taught at Nova Southeastern University post-graduate orthodontic program from 2011-2013 as an associate professor.

Dr. Parth Nanavati was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where he obtained his Bachelors in Biological Sciences. Dr. Nanavati then remained at the University of Illinois at Chicago for his dental degree, where he graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Nanavati has come full circle at Woodlake Family Dental. He started in 2007 as an assistant, and with the guidance of his mentors Dr. Verma and Dr. Sud, has returned to the practice as a General Dentist.

Dr. Punita Shukla received her dental education at University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago, IL and her undergraduate degree at University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and has now been enjoying living in downtown Chicago.

Kenny Alejandro Robles, DDS was born and raised in Cuba. Dr. Robles moved to the United States in 2007, when he was in his third year of dental school in Cuba. Once in the United States, he continued to pursue a career in dentistry. In 2013, he graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.S in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology. While at UCLA, Kenny Alejandro began mentoring Latino youth who aspired to transfer to a four-year university. During this time, he also worked with the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) performing research that focused on stem cells in submandibular salivary glands.

In May 2017 Dr. Robles graduated from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Based on his outstanding clinical skills, Alejandro was selected to rotate between two extramural locations within the Southern California area which included San Diego and the AIDS Healthcare Foundation dental clinic in downtown Los Angeles. While at the at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation dental clinic, he was able to attain a keen grasp on working with medically compromised patients.

As an active member on the board of trustees of the Hispanic Dental Association. Alejandro has a desire to use his dental career in continuing to work with the Latino community in raising awareness, while providing necessary and appropriate dental care.

Dr. Tanvi Mehta is a native of and grew up in Toronto, Canada. She attended School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Now, Dr. Mehta is dedicated to providing her patients with the most comprehensive dental care and to fulfill the long- term goal of healthy and functional dentition.

Dr. Mehta is a proud member of American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Mehta lives in Chicago with her husband and enjoys painting, cooking, travelling, and spending time with her friends and family.

Dr. Sandra Chung grew up in Naperville and was a graduate of Neuqua Valley High School. She went to University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, where she received her bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She then attended Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her dental degree with honors. Dr. Chung is committed to providing comprehensive quality dentistry with a gentle and compassionate approach. She is also passionate about dental missions and has participated in missions trips in Jamaica, the Philippines, Peru, and Ecuador.

Dr. Jim Skoumal was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa where he participated as an Eagle Scout with BSA and swam on the high school team before heading to California for his undergraduate and dental degrees. After graduating from the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco Dr. Jim worked at a clinic in southern New Mexico until deciding to return to the Midwest to be closer to his family in Iowa and Illinois. When not in the dental office he can be found in the outdoors, camping, hiking or skiing as the weather permits.

Carrie is a long time resident of Joliet, IL and a graduate of Prairie State College with an Associate of Applied Sciences in Dental Hygiene. During her time at Prairie State, she was a Sigma Phi Alpha Honor Society inductee and the recipient of the Instrumentation Excellence Award given by Nordent Manufacturing Inc. She is certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration. Carrie believes in developing personal relationships with each and every one of her patients instilling confidence and trust. She also enjoys taking continuing education courses in order to keep her patients informed with the most up to date information possible. Carrie is very proud to be a member of the Woodlake Family Dental team.

Samantha has been involved in the dental field since 2007, first as a dental assistant and now as a hygienist. She acquired her Associate of Applied Sciences in Dental Hygiene from Prairie State College. She is also certified in nitrous oxide administration, local anesthesia, and CPR. Samantha believes in using her knowledge, skills, judgments, values and positive attitude to provide her patients with the best possible treatment and education. She enjoys staying updated on the new and upcoming advances in dental care and keeping her patients informed. Samantha has a sincere passion for dentistry and is thankful to be able to say that she loves her job.

Leddy has been a Hygienist since 2007. She acquired her Associates in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Kennedy King College. She is certified in nitrous oxide administration, local anesthesia and CPR. Leddy loves spending time with her family and traveling.
