Dr. Shannon Cunningham graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 1992 with a B.S. degree in zoology and English. She went on to the University of Minnesota Dental School to earn her DDS degree in 1997 and joined Woodgrove Dental in 1999. She loves seeing patients of all ages for a variety of dental treatment. Shes dedicated to creating an enjoyable dental experience. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and their Old English Sheepdog. She has fun going for walks, watching her kids sporting events, Twins games, and cooking. She would love to write a childrens book about going to the dentist.
Dr. Vicki Raitor achieved her Bachelors degree in 1984 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1988 while attending the University of Minnesota. After graduation she joinedWoodgrove Dental in 1989 where she remains today. Her passion for dentistry shows in the quality of the work she produces. I enjoy providing high quality dental services in a gentle and caring manner for patients of all ages. In fact,many patients that started their dental care with her as young children, now bring their children to see her. Dr. Raitor extends her zeal for quality healthcare out into the community by volunteering her time with the Spinal Cord Society for the past 28 years. When Dr. Raitor has time, she enjoys activities like walking, biking, boating, gardening and fishing with her family and friends.
After 37 wonderful years at Woodgrove Dental, Dr. Hensel retired on February 3, 2021. He has loved getting to know our patients and practicing dentistry, but now he will be practicing his golf swing. You will most likely see him out and about cross country skiing, biking and golfing when he is not enjoying some well-earned R & R. We will miss Dr. Hensel but wish him the absolute best.
Pam has been with Woodgrove Dental since December, 1982, starting as a dental assistant before moving to the office manager position in 1984. She has enjoyed becoming friends with many patients and watching their families grow throughout the years.
Amy has been working in the front office of the dental field for 15 years. She joined the Woodgrove Dental team in 2018 when she moved to the area from southern WI. Her favorite part of dentistry is helping patients love their smiles.
Pamela graduated in 1983 as a licensed dental assistant. In 2017, she transitioned from dental assistant to patient coordinator. Pamela joined Woodgrove Dental in 2019 and enjoys all aspects of patient care.
She lives in Cottage Grove with her husband Allan and two rescue cats. Pamela spends many hours in her flower gardens and volunteers as the assistant superintendent, flower division at the Washington County Fair.
Kari joined Woodgrove Dental in 2010 as a patient coordinator. Her favorite part of working at Woodgrove Dental is building relationships with patients and coworkers as well as the relationships with the doctors.
My name is Ingrid and I have been a Dental Assistant for 34 years and joined Woodgrove Dental one year ago. I have two wonderful grown daughters and a little Chihuahua that are my world. I love working here with good people and helping patients receive their dental care.
Sheila is a University of Minnesota graduate and has been with our team since 1998. Her favorite part of working at Woodgrove Dental is getting to know patients and their families. One of her top priorities is educating patients to help them reach their dental goals.
My name is Sonali and Im a Dental Hygienist. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2002, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. I joined Woodgrove Dental in 2015 and am proud to be a part of a friendly and patient oriented team. I enjoy constantly learning whats new in dental hygiene and prevention. I believe in empowering my patients with knowledge to care for their oral health and general well being.

My children see Dr. Cunningham for dental care and let me tell you she is AMAZING. Dr. Cunningham and her staff are always so gentle and caring with my kids. She makes sure that they understand what is going on and always makes sure they are comfortable. She always provides excellent care. I would highly recommend Dr. Cunningham!!

Love this place! When I went here after years of not being able to go to a dentist due to financial reasons, they were extremely welcoming. I never felt judged and truly they were just wanting to get me to a healthy place again like I was. They are always super helpful. They also generate very accurate quotes through insurance that avoids a surprise moment after getting work done. Now I'm cavity free again and super happy that I found this team to get there in my journey.

We moved to woodgrove because our former dentist location tried upselling everything to us and weren't transparent. I can't even recall who the dentist was. They constantly tried selling me "preventative" treatments that would cost a lot out of pocket. Woodgrove has caring people who are transparent about cost, effectiveness, and they care genuinely for their patients. They throughly examined my teeth and told me everything looked healthy, and provided useful technique and tips.

The entire team was friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was prompt and friendly. I had my teeth cleaned and it was expertly handled and efficient. I also have a cracked tooth and my insurance is being difficult and they are helping me resubmit the claim. Highly recommend!

Wonderful, courteous staff. Safe environment. My husband and I always look forward to seeing our dental hygienist, Kristen. She makes every visit a joy. And Dr. Cunningham is wonderful! I'd recommend Woodgrove Dental to anyone. No hesitation.
