Their innovativeSTEPsystem became a part of the University of Maryland School of Dentistrys curriculum in 2014.
Its hard for me to put into words and be concise about how much the current workshop series is changing my life as a dentist. Given the advanced nature of the dentistry we do, our dental assistants are all highly skilled. They, too, attend yearly continuing education courses to stay on the cutting edge of esthetic and restorative dentistry. Jen has assisted Dr. Wooddell for over 25 years and Mallorie joined their team in 2018. Michelle has assisted Dr. Passaro for over 20 years and Amber joined their team in 2019.
Nowhere will you find a better team of hygienists than here at Wooddell & Passaro. They take very seriously their responsibility to provide the best care possible to each individual patient. Sandy has been a member of our team for nearly 30 years. Marcia has been with us for 7 years with prior experience in the dental field. Jennie is our newest hygienist but she is not new to our practice! Prior to obtaining her degree in Dental Hygiene, Jennie was Dr. Passaros Patient Care Coordinator for six years. Each year, our hygienists attend continuing education courses to learn the latest theories and techniques in the treatment of periodontal disease.

Dr. Joe & Staff are always patient & professional. They not only treat the problem but strive to educate the patient on how to brush and floss properly to prevent future issues, etc. This practice is by far the best I have been to. Would not hesitate to recommend Wooddell & Passaro !!

Dr. Woody is, IMHO, the BEST dentist on the planet! Not only does he take time to get to know his patients personally, he and listens intently to your dental concerns/issues and works with you to come up with solutions that actually work. I've been to several "highly rated" dentists and complained about my TMD and NONE of them could help me (some didn't even try). By chance, I found Dr. Woody and he developed a plan that included correcting my bite and alleviating my TMD discomfort. It's obvious everyone at the practice loves what they do as they're all phenomenal professionals, especially Mallory and Jennie!

Dr. Woodell was very thorough in my TMD examination. He is patient, knowledgeable and explained well my condition. He also answered my questions. He and his staff are pleasant and professional. I recommend him.

Getting treatment at Wooddell &Passaro is always a pleasure. All the girls are welcoming and caring and very professional. Dr Wooddell is just excellent at his job. He just made me a bridge that was a perfect fit and looks great. He is a true pro and can be trusted to do a totally professional job ++++ .The great staff plus the beautiful pastoral setting of the office make "going to the dentist" a pleasure. Thank you for being above and beyond the average dental practice.

Dr Passaro and his staff were outstanding. He is a good listener and very detailed in his examination and explanation of his proposed treatment plan. Be aware that his practice is feec for service so the costs if you have insurance will be higher (out of network).

Dr. Woodell and all of his staff are AMAZING! I have dental anxiety from prior dental offices that weren't as patient, gentle and compassionate as Dr. Woody's. The atmosphere as soon as you walk in is refreshing and reassuring. I highly recommend them and could rave all day about how great the whole team is and how talented they all are.

Hygienist appointment today. At any task there can only be one best. At dental hygiene it's Sandy at Dr. Passaro's office. Never a 10 minute job. Always over an hour's experience. Any hygienist I've been to in the past is like comparing a Prius to a Rolls Royce when you compare others to Sandy's work. She's interested in gums surely as much as teeth. Dr. Passaro's expertise is second to none. Ask any dentist who knows him?

This was a check in while I'm still under going treatment. I was very anxious with so many dental issues and wearing trays to correct my bite as well as my cosmetic concerns as aging has caused many teeth shifting . Dr Wooddell is at the top of his game ! He is by far the best dentist I have even seen. I trust we are moving together on every issue and I know my results will be more than satisfying for me . I never dreamed I would be smiling and showing off my beautiful teeth again . I believe he is to thank for the direction and motion he has set to achieve this goal . I'm thankful to his office and his brilliant skills

I have been going to Dr. Joe for 40 plus years....he has taken care of my teeth which includes 2 bad accidents in the days when it took more than a year to get an implant on my front tooth. It required a lot of time he arranged for other specialists for other things that had to be done. I am 74 years old and no one has ever suspected my front teeth are not real. My husband sees Dr. Woody and we would never ever go anywhere else! I tease Dr Joe that he cannot retire before i croak!!!!

I am incredibly weary of dentists, no offense to the profession, it's necessary, but overall not a very enjoyable experience for the patient. I had my first appointment today with Dr. Passaro and it was nothing like I expected. The staff was engaging, patient and and oddly enough fun once I relaxed, as was the doctor. I had been flying to Charleston, SC for my dentist but I'm set on them now. I live and work in Baltimore and I'm going to continue to make the 40 min drive to them, they're worth it.

I love this office! I fly from Charleston, South Carolina to have Dr. Passaro work on my teeth. He is tremendously talented and I enjoy every minute of his company. The office staff is exceptional and the office is pristine. Thank you again for the excellent job today.
