Seth Perlmutter, DMD received his bachelors degree from Yeshiva University, and his dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey New Jersey Dental School. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center. Dr. Perlmutter continues to be a lifelong learner, accruing extensive hours of continuing education training in many facets of advanced dental treatment options including Root Canal Therapy, Laser Dental Therapy, Implant Restoration, and Full Mouth Veneers. He truly enjoys his work in dentistry to bring life to all his patients smiles.
Dr. Perlmutter is a friendly, compassionate, and caring dentist who strives to educate his patients and develop proper attitudes toward dental hygiene. He understands the significance of communication with his patients in order to create a comfortable, relaxed environment and an overall great experience. He takes pride in serving as a dental coach to his young patients and parents, and in the process changing their perceptions about dentistry.
He is very active in giving back to the community by volunteering his care and services to a local hospice and by making dental presentations to local elementary schools. In his spare time, Dr. Perlmutter enjoys spending time with his family and going on walks with his golden retriever. Dr. Perlmutter is passionate about all sports, especially baseball. While in college, Dr. Perlmutter played outfield for a Division III Baseball Team. Until this day, Dr. Perlmutter continues to play baseball in various local leagues. He is a New Jersey native and currently lives in Bergen County with his wife, Elana and their two boys, Nathan and Jonah.

This dental exam was amazing. The staff was so professional, beautiful clean office, and got out of there in one hour. I loved the extra pampering of a nice blanket, Netflix TV on the ceiling and a warm lavender wipe at the end of the exam. Highly recommend Dr. Perlmutter and his team!!

This week my son (17months) and I had our first visit. I wanted a family dentist and heard good things. My previous dentist was very dirty and often had to waits hours past my appt time. We had a great experience at Wood Cliff Family Dental. They were very patient with my son and did everything to make the experience enjoyable for him. For myself, they thoroughly explained everything and i was in and out within 45 mins, happy to find a new dentist for my family!

I visited yesterday the Woodcliff Family Dental. This is the first time in my life that I actually enjoyed going to the dentist... It is obvious that someone very, very capable designed the Customer Experience (CX) from A to Z in a very attentive way, with great success. Do yourself a favor and move over to Woodcliff. I was sure it is part of a larger chain of locations, and was surprised that it is a single boutique location. Their attention to detail resulted in a supreme experience. Real pleasure. Weird to say that on a dental office, but it is a reality. Good job guys!

Woodcliff Lake Family Dental has now taken 2 full work days from myself and my husband. Both appointments scheduled and canceled IN the chair. Seemingly they have a certain clientele they wish to work with. One was due to "high bp" on a bp machine that wasn't fitting, my husband is very muscular and the cuff wasn't fitting properly (went immediatly to the doctor to confirm and no problem) we called to explain and they want a full cardiologist work up , for a filling. One was due to addressing dental anxiety in chair and the dentist simply wasn't able to understand that and canceled the appointment while I was in the chair with zero explaination except he had "a bad feeling." When we asked for the money back for the initial visit that didn't have services rendered (they charge before appointment) they didn't credit it. When we went to the second appointment and asked again for the credit (substantial amount of money) suddenly the tone shifted and he was very rude. We lost 2 work days because this guy thinks because he has weighted blankets he's an "anxiety professional". Horrible bedside manner when it actually matters. When we asked what specifically the issue was "you were upset when you got here" oh...okay. Thanks for knowing my day before I arrived and having zero understanding. They spend more time putting cute letter boards together than actually being medical professionals. Oh and never try to go on any number of days that he's off which is MANY

While the staff is good, and on a first visit everything seems great, at the end of the day I am NOT a fan. After being sent away due to "high blood pressure" while trying to complete a filling, I needed to show up to the office to be refunded. Who knows what they're doing with the insurance company. My significant other discussed with the doctor their concerns and issues with anxiety, which he said he is willing and able to deal with, however what we saw in the office was the exact opposite. He had a "bad vibe" and spent "a long time" talking to her in advance, due to that, he refused to perform the service, and find dental care elsewhere. I'm absolutely floored by the lack of professionalism and bedside manner. I can't stress enough that the issue here is the doctor, and perhaps his receptionist, meanwhile the hygienists seem to all be doing their best. Typically a good doctor is dragged down by a mediocre staff, meanwhile Woodcliff family dental is the exact opposite.

Dr. Perlmutter is always amazing. I can easily say that him and his team provided the BEST dental care I've ever received in my life. The clinic is clean, modern and it actually feels more like a spa than a dental clinic. The experience is tailored to each patient, you can choose to watch some netflix while you lay comfortably down with a weighted blanked and noise canceling headphones. The Dr. Always explains very well each step of what he is doing and is SUPER gentle. Who would guess you can actually enjoy and relax at the dentist's chair? Well you can and that is the magic Dr. Perlmutter and his team provides

The single best dental experience I've ever had. From the reception staff, to the hygienists, to the doctor himself. Both my wife and I will be here until the end of time. The office is beautiful, comfortable and well taken care of. There is nothing lacking in this office whatsoever.

I wish I could put more than 5 stars. I'm personally not afraid of going to the dentist but I know a lot of people are. Those people should go to Woodcliff Family Dental. I went there for the first time yesterday and they went so above and beyond to make me feel comfortable that I genuinely walked out wanting an excuse to go back. When I first walked in, apart from the typical medical form, I was given a form asking for my personal preferences in regards to whether I wanted a freshly cleaned and heated blanket, a weighted blanket, or no blanket. I was asked about whether I wanted to watch something on the TV in the room (they had Netflix, Nature videos, or I could choose to have the TV off). I was also given a choice of the flavor of toothpaste they would use to clean my teeth at the end and the scent of the warm towel they would give me at the end. I was very pleasantly surprised. To add to it, when I got into the room I was surprised to see that the TV they had mentioned was actually on the ceiling above where I sat, so when I was laid back I could watch. I'd give this six stars if I could.

Honestly the best dentist office I've been to ever! Only dentist that actually talks to you about everything that is happening with your treatment. From the front desk to the chair, they go above and beyond to make you feel super comfortable. Great technology, great hygienist & great in house hospitality. I'd advise anyone in need of dental work to go visit Dr. Perlmutter, Giselle, Kathrine & April at Woodcliff Family Dental.
