Dr. Steve Hong graduated from Cornell University obtaining a B.A. in Biochemistry. He attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, earning his DMD in 2001. While attending dental school, Dr. Hong received the Navy Health Service Collegiate Program Scholarship, the catalyst to his enlisting in the United States Navy Dental Corp from 2001-2004 and ultimately earning the rank of Navy Lieutenant dental officer in Camp Lejeune, NC. During his service, he was deployed to Kuwait for five months and given the unique opportunity to serve as a lead dental officer in the Alpha Surgical Company in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Since being honorably discharged from the Navy, Dr. Hong has chosen to deliver the excellence in dentistry in a private practice by serving patients in South Jersey and Philadelphia. With a gentle hand and eye for perfection, Dr. Hong is adept in all facets of Comprehensive Dentistry, including routine fillings, cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridge, root canal therapies, oral surgery and implant dentistry. He is committed to listen with compassion and provide the utmost dental care to everyone who walks through the door.
Dr. Hong and his wife live in Moorestown, NJ with their two children. He is a member of the First Korean United Methodist Church of Cherry Hill, through which he has volunteered in dental mission trips to Dominican Republic and Haiti. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, biking, playing golf, and spending time with his family.

I've been taking my brother to this dental office because he was having issues with his teeth and he is unable to go on his own because he is currently having problems with his vision. We found the doctor through his insurance company. He hadn't been to a dentist in many years and he had a broken tooth in his mouth that became infected. They gave him an appointment the same day that we called and they have been resolving all of his issues since them, which included the extraction of several teeth. Everyone in the office is so nice and friendly. I like the fact that we don't get stuck waiting in the office for a long time. My brother is usually seen by the dentist within 5 minutes of arriving. Both I and my brother highly recommend this dental office.

My wife referred me to this dentist location because of her previous experiences. As my first time at Woodbury Dental Associates after many year neglecting my teeth, I was a bit nervous. However the staffs, hygienist, and doctor made my first visit so much calm and feel relaxed ! Everything is great including their smiles ! The office is super clean and the service was excellent!

Dr.Narine is amazing. She reassured me with everything and explained every thing she was doing prior to doing it. The front desk staff is amazing. The young lady at the front was answering phone calls, checking out patients, and helping so much with everything. Janet is an amazing assistant and I cannot explain how amazing Dr.Narine is. I had extreme phobias of the dentist due to some issues in my past. But I couldn't ignore my teeth anymore. When I say hands down, Dr. Narine had me at ease. When she did any work I didn't feel a thing, and the whole time she continued to ensure I was okay. All of the staff here are so nice and helpful. I am actually looking to my long journey ahead and not running in fear. Words cannot express how thankful I am for Woodbury Dental!

It took me a long time to find a dentist I am comfortable with and finally found one this is like striking gold the dentist and staff are friendly from the minute you walk in the door when you are greeted by the receptionist, she is awesome.

I've had six crowns done by multiple different dentists. My most recent was with Dr. Siew-Narine at Woodbury Dental Associates. Dr. Narine is friendly, professional, teaches as she goes, and it was a pain free, comfortable experience. Carol is our family hygienist, and always professional and friendly, and the office staff has been very helpful. They even suggested a dental plan, that is affordable and has saved us a significant amount of money. I highly recommend this practice.

I really enjoy my visits to the dentist! Everyone is so pleasant here and Dr. Mala is the sweetest person/doctor I have ever met!!! She really knows her work and is very down to earth, such a beautiful human being, may God bless her and all the staff at woodbury dental

I called to schedule a new patient appointment, the earliest they could get me in was over a month away, even though I told them about the tooth pain I've been experiencing in multiple places. Fast forward to 1 week before my appointment, they call and tell me their doctor has to reschedule my appointment because they have something else to do that day. They offer to reschedule my appointment, FIVE weeks away. I've already waited 5 weeks, and now because THEY are the ones cancelling my appointment they want me to wait another 5 weeks to be seen. Clearly they care nothing for their patients and could care less if you are in pain and need to be seen. Terrible way to treat patients.

I have been a patient at Woodbury Dental for many years. Although there have been changes in the staff and physicians along the way I have always had an excellent experience in care and professionalism. Each and every visit I have left feeling my dental professionals care. That is a huge accomplishment and I appreciate it always. Can not say enough about Woodbury Dental on every aspect of their care. They are the best!!!

Due to a dentist phobia, I had not seen a dentist in 20 years. I was terrified, but made an appointment with Woodbury Dental. I told them about my fears, and the receptionist could not have been more reassuring and kind. When I arrived for my appointment, everyone at the front desk was so welcoming and sweet! The dental hygienist (Carol?) was SO patient and understanding of my concerns. She took her time to explain everything to me and was very gentle while still doing a thorough job completing x-rays and cleaning my teeth. When the doc came over to give my teeth the final check, he was very short and not as pleasant as the rest of the staff, but I am willing to be okay with that considering 90% of my time was spent with the hygienist any way. If I need any work done, perhaps I will request a different doctor just based on my short interaction with the one I had, but other than that I can say my phobia is basically cured, and I will for sure be going back for my 6 month check ups from now on! THANK YOU WOODBURY DENTAL ASSOCIATES FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE!
