Angela is an expert dental hygienist! She has worked in dentistry for several years and always strives for 100% patient satisfaction. Angela grew up in a small town outside of Salem and is currently putting two children through college. When she isnt working Angela has a great sense of adventure and is always participating in outdoor adventures such as horseback riding and zip lining.
Josie grew up in Seaside, Oregon and graduated from the University of Portland. Josie has been working in the dental field since 2011, joining Woodburn Community Dental & Orthodontics in January 2014. She greatly enjoys the complexity of her job; resolving difficult insurance claims is her favorite part. When she is not working, Josie enjoys camping, volunteering at animal rescues, and playing with her four husky mutts.
Mari grew up locally in Woodburn and has strong roots in the community. She has worked in retail for thirteen years but has always wanted to be a receptionist in the medical field. On her days off she loves to spend time with her family. Dancing is one of her favorite past times. She also enjoys making new memories and going on adventures with her son.
Bere started her dental career at Woodburn Community Dental in the fall of 2015 as an extern through Concorde Career College. Her skills proved to be strong enough to bring on as a permanent member of the team. Her favorite part of working here at Woodburn Communty Dental is the relationships she gets to develop with her co-workers and patients. Outside of work she enjoys dancing and playing the guitar.
Rosie grew up locally in the community of Gervais with the majority of her family still living here in Woodburn. Shes traveled around the US, living in various states, and has worked customer service for the past 16 years. Rosie enjoys keeping her two kids busy with a wide range of activities such as hiking, road trips, and going to the coast. Dancing with her cousins and close friends is her favorite thing to do.

Experience is not for me but my client I take care of. They treat her so well, understand her limitations. And are the friendliest we have ever experienced. She normally hates going to the dentist, but she enjoys Dr. McGowan.

Bunch of crooks the front desk. Always give me attitude and do things with out my confirmation. They seem helpful only when it goes their way.

Dr. McGowan, the dental assistants and receptionists have all been extremely friendly, kind and professional. When I had an emergency, they fit me in to a busy holiday schedule at the last minute. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends. They always seem to go out of their way to make me feel relaxed and comfortable when I am there.

The dentists are friendly, but the girls at the front desk are rude and unprofessional. They tell you one thing and then you come back and they tell you another. Would not recommend this place.

Said they called and said they left txt messages, when they did not, so they canceled my appointment again.. I don't recommend this place at all!!!

I arrived at 9:33 am and was informed that I had missed my appointment. I had to ask the receptionist to say what she meant repeatedly about not being able to have my broke tooth extracted then I walked out the door and proceeded to get into my car cursing 3 times as I was driving away. If I was told that being 13 minutes late would forfeit my slotted time i would not have made the 45 minute drive. Is that the policy? I do apologize for cursing three times, I regret that action. good day

The dentist and hygienist are awesome. Dealing with the rude front desk staff that's another issue. Owners of this clinic ask your patients how they are treated by your front desk staff. You are losing business.

Easy to make appt. Friendly. I did call first to make sure they accepted my insurance, (medicare) but I guess the real question should have been are they "in-network". My medicare paid almost 2/3 of the bill for preventative, I was surprised getting the bill for what is normally 100% covered. I read other comments pretty much saying the same thing, however, i didn't read them until after my visit. Medicare said the dentist can charge anything they want, so still a hundred bucks seemed excessive. Lesson learned.

This business, will let you know that they accept all insurances. But they don't tell you if they are an in-network provider; most individuals don't know they need to ask this. This is a practice that should be changed, letting the patient know that they are an out-of-network provider lets the patient know that they will be charged for a cleaning that would be normally be covered 100% for an in-network provider. Would not recommend this clinic as they are not honest and upfront about coverage.

This is my first Dentist clinic where the playlist is awesome!!! The DA's are so sweet and make you feel at home.This place has such a fun and energetic vibe and the Dentist seems to be in a good mood always. He really cares about making patients feel comfortable. Highly recommend

This is great business and the place to go for all your dental needs. The staff is professional yet fun loving staff and it almost makes me enjoy going to the dentist! We have multiple employees who utilize WCDO and they report same excellent service.

I've been here several times. Most recently for an extraction and filling. Dr. McGowan is a really nice guy and did a great job pulling a tooth. Dr. Jones also is really nice and did a great job filling a tooth. The Doctors, assistants, and gals at the desk are all friendly and professional. The hours and scheduling are convenient and flexible. I was able to go in on a Saturday and not miss work. I don't have dental insurance and pay out of pocket. The prices are reasonable and they offer a membership to reduce costs. We've been bringing our kids here for a couple years and they're great with kids too.

My dad has had a tooth ache for 2 weeks and refused to go see a dentist. Friday afternoon he decided to call his dentist and they were able to get him in for his consult the next day. They took him back as soon as he checked in and were able to do an extraction the same day. The girl at the front desk, the girls in the back and Dr. Jones were all wonderful, the prices were fair and the over all environment was welcoming, clean and professional. Thank you for taking care of my dad.

Love the online scheduling option on their website. Staff was very friendly and professional. Dr. McGowen took the time to explain things to me so I could make good decisions for myself. He obviously cares for his patients.

I have OHP. My appointment was at 1pm at 4/21/2021. I waited about 5 minutes to be seen, maybe another 5 for x-rays? Dentist said I had a cavity starting on a tooth that wasn't giving me issues so he numbed me up and fixed it in less than 10 minutes and I was out the door. Keep getting invoices in the mail for that appointment showing charges for nutritional counseling $39? oral hygiene instruction $61? Charges for extra x-ray films. I scheduled the appointment for a dental CLEANING. They said their dental hygienist was on maternity leave and I wouldn't be able to get an appointment until September, which is fine but I don't know why they'd let me set up an appointment for one and then do different procedures altogether. You hear stories about dentist doing unnecessary procedures just to charge the insurance companies, and I left this place feeling like that is what just happened to me. The invoice confirms it because I was there less than half an hour and I did not ask for nutritional counseling and I don't need oral hygiene instruction nor did I receive it. You don't typically charge for those educational services yet they are on the invoice? They were not provided. What recommendations are you speaking of? I received none of these extra services that are being charged on the invoice. In and out the door in less than half an hour for a $500 charge?

Everyone here is friendly and they've done good work for me so far, and have worked hard to squeeze me in when I had an emergency. There are fluent Spanish speakers on staff as well, if you are in need of one. They take Carecredit, go over charges with you in advance, and I believe they also have payment plans.
