Dr Arundhati Misra-Sauparn (known by her maiden name of Dr Misra) is passionate about what she does and believes in giving sensitive and quality care to her patients. She understands that root canal therapy is misunderstood by many and works to erase the myths about pain and discomfort associated with root canal therapy one patient at a time.
Dr Misra-Sauparn grew up in India and began her career as a dentist in India in 2007 where she worked in private practice as well as taught dentistry as an Assistant Professor before deciding to pursue Advanced Specialty Training in Endodontics at New York University. After receiving her specialty degree in Endodontics, Dr Misra Sauparn relocated to Northern VA and has practiced as an endodontist and served patients throughout NOVA including Vienna, Tysons, Merrifield, Arlington, Falls Church, Burke, Woodbridge, Lorton, Dale City, McLean, Fairfax, Centerville, South Riding, Alexandria, Herndon, Great Falls, and Reston.
Dr Misra-Sauparn lives in Fairfax County near the Tysons area. She spends her leisure time with her husband, daughter & toddler son. When not practicing endodontics she enjoys volunteering at her daughters school and traveling with her family.
Services she provides: root canal therapy (RCT), root canal retreatment, emergency dental care, and dental surgeries including apicoectomies, utilization of state of the art technology, nitrous oxide sedation, oral sedation, performing diagnosis with latest diagnostic aids such as 3D imaging CBCT, and practicing microscopic endodontics.
For teeth which have a poor endodontic prognosis, we have a board-certified periodontist on our team, Dr Richard Tami. He is Ex-President of Virginia Society of Periodontology and is a member of the American College of Dentists.
Dr Tami has been featured in the Washingtonian, Northern Virginia Magazines as Top Periodontist since 2008 to present. He was also the Founder and Past President of the Woodbridge Dental Study Club and was inducted into the Prince William County Walk of Fame in 2016. This induction was to honor his construction of the baseball field for disabled children.
Dr Tami has been married to his wife Joyce for 44 years. They have three lovely children and are blessed with four grandchildren. Dr Tamis interests outside of dentistry include golf, scuba diving, and biking.
Dr Tami takes pride in serving the Northern Virginia community, including Tysons, Vienna and Fairfax, and offers state of the art periodontal treatments for our patients in need of endodontic-periodontal combined issues.

Super thanks to Dr. Misra-Sauparn and her team at Specialist Care Endodontics. I had a root canal there and had taken a 3D Dental Imaging about 3 months ago. I needed that imaging for another dental appointment. Dr. Misra-Sauparn and her team ensured that my needs were met by taking another imaging and providing a disc file for me to take. The entire team was very professional and caring - from taking my call to scheduling the new appointment and providing another 3D imaging!

I do not know who I talked to on the phone and I don't care what receptionist but they need better customer service or people skills . Don't be all judgmental when a person is trying to ask questions like all it was a yes or no question a little "I'm sorry unfortunately we do not do that here." would of suffice. Do not just send a customer away due them sounding like they possible can't afford it is YOUR JOB to tell them about other options you possibly have.... I had a bunch of dental work done and is scared and I am literally struggling with anxiety and who I just talk to in your office today 9/20/22 just made my day worst. What a shame. I was actually just gonna pay it any way even though I am struggling . Because I trust the dentist who refer me to this one but, not this time get your professionalism in order, thank you.

I was referred to Dr. Saipan by my new dentist at Admire Dental, for a root canal. Although I have a high tolerance for pain, but after experiencing such an excruciating tooth ache I wasn't sure anymore. But her dental Hygienist assured me not to worry bcuz Dr. Saipan was really good and I wouldn't feel anything. Yesss, She's good! I rarely felt the first needle and it was 'all she wrote' after that. I was in and out of the chair in no time. Dr. Saipan was very thorough, personable, professional and understanding. The staff were equally the same. I had a very pleasant & friendly experience. I'm so grateful for the knowledge & personal care they provided for me.

This morning I had a root canal done by Dr Sauparn at 13885 Hedgewood drive,suite209 in Woodbridge, Va. The doctor and her staff turned an uncomfortable experience into a pleasant one. I felt comfortable and cared for from the moment I came into the office. She and her staff were kind and thoughtful throughout the proscedure. I hope I don't ever have to go back to the office nbut I sure hope to run into them in a better feeling place. If you need a Endodontist Dr Sauparn is the place for you.
