My co-workers are like sisters and we feel like all of our patients are part of our family. We all genuinely want to help people, whether it is a new patient that comes to us with a toothache or someone that wants a complete smile makeover. It is important to each of us that we take time to treat people the way we would want to be treated in their situation.
Beth has been in dentistry for over 13 years; she has been with our practice since 2005. A former dental assistant, Beth earned her dental hygiene license in 2010. Her warm and heartfelt concern for her patients makes her an asset to her profession. Beth loves spending time with her family; she has been married for 10 years and has 2 beautiful girls.
Dr. Wood started her private practice in Homewood, AL in 1980 and moved to Vestavia Hills, AL in 1993. Dr. Spooner joined the practice in 1998 and together they enjoy practicing dentistry with a caring, personal touch.
Dr. Wood is currently active in the CEREC Study Club and is an alumnus of the Frank Spear Education study club the Seattle Study Club as well as numerous local study clubs. Photos of her restorative dentistry cases have been included in articles in a multidisciplinary dental publication. She has been a featured speaker at the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Dentistry student series for both practice management and UAB's AAWD (American Association for Women Dentists).
Dr. Wood, a native of West Virginia, has been married to Tom Gester for twenty five years. They have two sons. They enjoy family vacations, cooking together, and gardening. Dr.Wood and her husband are involved in their local church and community organizations.

I went there for the first time this week. Amazing staff, convenient, personable, and quite possibly one of the best dental experiences I have ever had. If you are looking for a new dentist in Vestavia, I highly recommend giving them a try.

Dr. Wood and her assistant, Deborah, worked tirelessly on my crowns and veneers. I couldn't be happier with the quality of their work and the end results. The entire staff creates a welcoming environment that helps calm any possible anxiety about procedures. A final point...Dr. Wood was my dentist when I lived in town, and I continue to drive 5 hours to her office from my new home in south Alabama. That, in itself, speaks to the quality of their work.

I'm very pleased with the level of care, expertise and attention to detail exhibited by Dr. Wood and her staff. Yesterday was a check up & cleaning. They have the BEST dental hygienists I've ever encountered. Expert work! This is an excellent practice and I highly recommend them.

Absolutely superior, highly expert dental care delivered with speed and efficiency at a fair price. And they run on time! I am a doctor myself so I know it can be difficult to retain front-office staff these days and Dr. W and S have found the very best in Connie and her colleagues.
