Keith Wood, DDS, is an experienced general dentist with extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and orthodontics. Dr. Wood moved to beautiful Folsom, California, in 1992, where he built Wood Family Dentistry by restoring a historic house in the tight-knit community.
As the son of a dentist, its no surprise that Dr. Wood showed an interest in helping others at a young age. He attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, immediately after earning his Bachelor of Applied Science in zoology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in 1981.
At Wood Family Dentistry, Dr. Wood provides a variety of dental services for patients of all ages, including teeth whitening, veneers, emergency care, dental implants, oral surgery, and dental crowns.
Outside of work, Dr. Wood and his family love exploring Folsom Lake, riding their bikes on the surrounding trails, and dirt biking in the Sierras. He also holds a private pilots license and has a deep passion for flying.

Dr. Keith Wood I am a general dentist in historic Folsom. I have extensive training in cosmetics, implants, and orthodontics. To give you a little background on myself, my father was a dentist, so I was introduced to dentistry at a young age. I received my degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Texas. I began practicing in Antioch and decided to move to the growing Folsom area in 1992. On a more personal note, my family and I live in Folsom. We love spending time on Folsom Lake, riding our bikes on the trails and dirt biking in the Sierras. I have my private pilots license and have a passion for flying.
I have a knowledgeable, friendly and caring staff. We offer services to all ages. My staff and I all have children and are able to understand and care for the needs of the younger patients, as well as adult patients.
At our office, we realize that many people are fearful of dentistry. We take the time to understand our patients needs, and make every effort to make their visit as comfortable as possible. I feel that our high quality dentistry and caring staff keeps our patients coming back.
I have been working as a Registered Dental Assistant since 1998. I was born and raised in Southern California and relocated up north in 1997. I started working with Dr. Wood in 2005. My Family and I currently live in El Dorado Hills. We are very active and love to spend our weekends outdoors, motorcycle riding, bike riding, snow boarding/Skiing, camping, and boating on the lake.
Ive been in the dental field since 2001. Im originally from San Francisco. I moved to the Sacramento Area in 2005. My daughter and I have a passion for traveling. We also enjoy going to the city and catching a baseball game because we are huge SF Giants fans ! On the weekends I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, salsa dancing, playing golf and escaping to the nearest beach.
Ive been with Wood Family Dentistry since January of 2003. I started as a part-time employee, helping the front office and a year later was hired on full time. I enjoy biking and hiking in the surrounding Folsom area. In my spare time, I take classes at Folsom Lake College and enjoy volunteering in different outdoor organizations.
Ive been with Wood Family Dentistry since 1992. Im the mother of 4 grown kids and have been married for 32 years. I graduated from Pasadena City College as a registered dental hygienist. I enjoy spending time with my family, practising taekwondo, reading, and one day would love to live by the beach.
I have been working as a dental hygienist at Wood Family Dentistry since 2000. I grew up in Walla, Washington, and graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon, in 1995. I enjoy mountain biking, water skiing, hiking, running, and reading. I love spending time outdoors with my husband and son.
I joined Wood Family Dentistry October of 2013. I am currently the hygiene and Insurance coordinator for the office. I enjoy the dental field and have been involved in it since 2008. I live in Sacramento with my husband and two boys. We spend most of our time enjoying our family and watching the boys play soccer.

Woods family dentistry. Has a very efficiency system. Your x-rays that are taken are immediately shown on a monitor in front of you you never have to wait for film to be developed. The people working there always kind and courteous and have specific jobs to do and do them well. Don't think I've ever been to a better dentistry. highly recommend Dr. Woods family dentistry. Good dentist office. Office staff could be better with communication to doctor. They neglected to advise my daughter is away at out of state college so she did not get dissolvable stiches for her wisdom teeth incisions. Now we have to find a dentist office near her school to have stitches removed. A bit of pain.

I am so happy I found this practice. Dr. Wood and his staff are just wonderful. They are all really welcoming, knowledgeable and located in an older, converted charming home. It reminds me of my old dentist before I moved. If they are in your provider network, I highly recommend checking out.

I have been with Dr. woods office for years. I have my visit in September 2022, at the visit I had my teeth clean and a bridge replaced and everything went great and thank you for the whole team at Dr. Woods office.

The staff here is very friendly, and the doctor fitted my crowns better than any previous dentists. He left great spacing between the teeth (previous crowns always get food stuck next to them, and these don't), and made sure they felt natural in my mouth.

I went into Dr. Woods office with a broken crown from biting into a decorative rough sugared scone. The piece remaining was ragged and super sharp, causing my mouth to swell where it made contact and get quite sore. Again I was fearful after a bad experience at a previous dentist office. That dentist had hit the nerve and pushed the needle past on to the artery or vein. Not only was it painful but I was badly bruised from the edge my jaw to my mid chin. Needless to say I was quite nervous to have another back molar worked on. I asked for nitrous for the first time in my life and they were kind enough to Dr. Woods office to accommodate me. I'm sure that nitrous relaxed me enough that I was not as nervous about the shot and we discussed the methods that he would use not to hit the vein. After being totally relaxed the rest was a breeze and I was surprised at how quickly I got was done. I left numb and with a temporary and as the thought process began only experienced a very slight dull ache. A couple of Tylenol took care of the ache and today as an a full day one I feel great. I'm also grateful that the dentist office listen to my fears and tried to alleviate them making me much more comfortable in the process. I would definitely recommend wood family dentistry to anyone that's looking for a new local dentist.
