Since 1997, I have had the pleasure of providing orthodontic care to families in the community and surrounding areas. Following in the footsteps of my father, I have used my education and hands on experience to treat my patients with top of the line care that gives each individual a smile they have always dreamed of. Getting to know my patients and their families and helping them achieve their goals is extremely rewarding. I want to use my training and talents to build others up by giving them a smile they can be proud of and confident in!
By continuously supporting my education, I am able to stay current with the changes in orthodontics and dentistry so that I can provide state-of-art orthodontic care for my patients. I have taken part in seminars through Invisalign Summits, the Academy of Orthodontic Excellence, and the Edward H. Angle Society on all aspects of orthodontic technology. I have also been an instructor at the USC Dental School Orthodontic Department, the Citrus College Dental Assisting Program, and the Pasadena City College Dental Tech Program.
I met my wife, Tina, at church when we were 5 years old and 7 years old and we have been happily married since 1997. Tina studied at Loma Linda University and is a board-certified pediatrician who practices locally, incorporating natural solutions such as essential oils and nutrition into her care of patients. We have seven beautiful children, six boys and one girl. Their names are Allen, Stephanie, Jeremy, Evan, Luke, and twins Peter and Paul. My children amaze me everyday. We homeschool them and feel blessed to have the privilege of guiding them and learning alongside them.We have had a house full of animals which include: dogs, chickens, chinchillas, guinea pigs, rabbits, turtles, birds, lizards, tarantulas, preying mantises and a variety of other creatures.
When I 'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, homeschooling, singing in the church choir, playing the guitar and harmonica, reading, and playing board games and computer games. My claim to fame is winning the title of 'Break Dance King' at Sierra Vista Middle School in 8th grade.Sometimes I still 'pop' some moves and breakdance with my kids.

Schooling/Experience:I received my Bachelors degree in Sociology with a minor in Communications from Loyola Marymount University. I completed the Registered Dental Assistant program from Citrus College.
What I love about Wong Orthodontics: I love that Dr. Mark is a 'teaching doctor,' he is very thorough in explaining how and why we do certain procedures. He always stays up to date with all the latest dental technology. He is a family man with a constant positive outlook.

About me: In March of 2019, I got married in Barbados. My dream is to travel the world with my husband. I am a huge football fan, and I love the Green Bay Packers. My favorite foods include donuts and pizza. In my free time, I love to workout, shop, watch a Marvel movie, andvisit Lake Arrowhead.
What I love about Wong Orthodontics: I appreciate the kindness that Dr. Mark displays to his patients in the way he interacts with them. He is very outgoing and values his family time. I am grateful that he is a teaching doctor that helps me be a better dental assistant.
At Wong Orthodontics, we strive to give our patients the best possible experience throughout their treatment. We do this by staying up to date with new technology, creating a comfortable environment, and providing a level of customer service second to none.
We pride ourselves on being technologically advanced in order to better serve our current and future patients. Our three iTero Element machines allow us to take scans for Invisalign, impressions for retainers, and virtually place brackets on models for indirect bonding with our braces patients. Not only do these scans save time by eliminating various steps, but they help with accuracy and make our patients' visits much more enjoyable!
Every time our patients step foot inside our Covina or Upland office, our goal is to make sure they receive the highest quality of care. Dr. Wong and our team work hard to create a fun, friendly environment where everyone feels like they are part of the family.
Our top priority is to make our patients feel well taken care of. We provide one-on-one attention to make our patients experience the most comfortable and efficient. Dr. Wong and our team strive for excellent customer service and quality of care.

I chose Dr Wong through the Invisalign website. I'm happy to say his office is very nice and clean, the staff is friendly and Dr Wong is very thorough. He explained everything in detail and came up with a treatment plan that was tailored to my needs. I will definitely be referring my friends and family to him.

Dr Wong's office is always a present experience. They always treat you nicely and host a friendly and caring environment. I had misaligned teeth for years but since I went to Wong Orthodontists, my teeth have never been better. I will happily recommend Wong Orthodontists to friends or family.

Dr. Wong and his staff are very professional and wonderful! If I have any concerns Dr always addresses them. If you need an orthodontist, he has 2 offices one in Upland (by the way beautiful) and the other in Covina! I have a beautiful smile thank you Dr Wong!

Dr Mark Wong and his staff are simply the best! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Communication of what will be happening at each appointment is perfect. Our 13 year daughter has been in treatment for a few years and yesterday we started treatment for our 16 year old son. Dr. Wong and his staff were so wonderful with him. Dr. Wong's exam was extremely thorough. My son was completely engaged and interested in his proposed treatment because Dr. Wong did such a great job of explaining everything and addressing my son. Our family highly recommends Dr. Wong and staff.
