He will design and execute a plan that he alone will follow to insure you have a lifetime of excellent dental health.

We use extensive sterilization procedures, going well beyond the guidelines recommended by the ADA and CDC. We use barrier techniques such as disposable masks and gloves and replace them with every new patient. Each piece of fixed operatory equipment is wiped-down with antibacterial solution prior to every clinical procedure. We use autoclave sterilization for all instruments prior to dental examination and treatment, in addition, we use a biological monitoring service weekly to make sure we achieve constant sterilization. You can be assured that our staff have been specifically trained on sterilization procedures and its importance.

Your dental plan is a form of compensation provided by your employer. You can expect the carrier (insurance company) to reimburse you for a portion of our fee. That portion is determined by the contract between your employer and the insurance company. The higher the premium paid by your company, the more generous the reimbursement.

Although we are not a party to the contractual arrangement with your insurance company, we do want to help you receive the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled. As a convenience to you, we will help you process your insurance claims in order for you to receive this maximum benefit. We will gladly provide dental x-rays and a written diagnostic report should your insurance company have any questions about the services we provided. At all times, you can be confident that we will always provide you with our best services without regard to the limitations imposed by your insurance coverage. To do otherwise would violate our contract with you, a contract we feel morally obliged to honor.

For your convenience, we accept payments in the form of cash, personal checks, money orders, as well as debit cards, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express . We also offer our own in-house discount plan and participate in Lending Clubpayment plans to those who qualify. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients, therefore payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Please remember, you are responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage. We will send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will make benefit payments to us within 4 to 6 weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance benefit within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid its portion is your responsibility and prompt remittance is appreciated.

Dr. Wolfert is proud of the community practice he has built in Weymouth since taking over for Dr. Armen Nalband in 1991. He has been able to continue relationships with many of Dr. Nalbands original patients as evidenced by the number of patients who have become part of his Toothboss Hall of Fame. During this time Rick has earned a reputation for not only being a clinically exceptional dentist, but also one whom his patients trust and feel comfortable with.

Rick graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 1981 after receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont. During his tour on the Aircraft Carrier Midway (CV-41), he was deemed the Toothboss, a nickname that has followed him since he left active service. He was deployed with the Massachusetts Army National Guard to Iraq in 2004 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a dentist and the units Triage Officer. Heretired from military service in February 2015 with MORE THAN 33 years of service.

In 1988, Rick began his private practice career in Milton. He then worked in Norwell before coming to Weymouth in 1991. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and has published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.

Bethany Lee is 30 years old and working as a Nurse Practitioner for the prison system at the medium security prison in Bridgewater. She lives in Taunton with Steve and her four-year-old Siberian Husky Tucker and his eight-year-old bull terrier, Loki. She and Tucker compete in Agility competitions throughout the northeast.

Rick also maintains close relationships with Debbys two boys, Paul and Danny, and Nicole, their sister. Paul and his wife Christine and their two boys live in Tualatin, Oregon. He works as a Protection Relay Technician for Portland General Electric. And Danny lives with his wife Beckee in Chestnut Hill. Danny works for Soldier Unlimited, an advertising firm in Boston, as the director of strategic planning and Beckee works as an OR Nurse at Brigham and Womens Hospital.

I have worked on Dr. Wolferts dental team for 30 years! In that time, I have watched 5 year old patients grow up, get married, and bring their own kids in for treatment. My joy has been to make their dental experience as relaxing as possible by putting many birdfeeders outside of our office window along with plants and of course corn for the squirrels! Patients have a wonderful time watching the birds fly up to the window, its like a ballet!

When patients walk into our office they are greeted by their name and made to feel welcomed immediately. Ive experienced walking into offices and feeling like an intruder. Thats not going to happen here!

I have taken many courses over the years to improve my knowledge of Dental insurance in order to help patients utilize their benefits to the max. Ive enjoyed meeting new patients and helping them get through their treatment plans one year at a time, using their insurance and creating payment plans, etc. I enjoy watching these tenacious patients coming back year after year and finally hearing Dr. Wolfert say Thats it, you are finished, you met your treatment goals.

I have been a part of Dr. Wolferts team since 1999, although taking some time off here and there to have and raise my 3 sons. After several years I decided to see if Dr. Wolfert had any part time openings on his team, I missed my Dental Office Family! I started with a few hours and now I am full-time and cant imagine working for anyone else.

I enjoy assisting patients in achieving optimal dental health and the smile they deserve. I do this by helping patients comprehend and maximize their insurance as well as creating payment plans that fit their budget. I love the life-long relationship I have developed with our patients.

Michaella is a graduate of Bristol Community College and has an associates degree in dental hygiene. She also worked as a hygienist at a pediatric dental practice and oftentimes utilizes the skills she developed there in our practice. In college, Michaella worked her way through school as a manager of a movie theater in East Bridgewater.

Michaella tells us at The Toothboss she loves working with Dr. Wolfert and the rest of the team. She appreciates all her patients and works very hard at making every one of them feel comfortable and free from the stress usually associated with coming to the dentist. Michaella has a natural rapport with our patients and has become a favorite of several of our regulars. She loves educating patients and takes great pride when patients improve their oral hygiene and overall dental health based on her instruction.

Donna worked at the Toothboss before it was the Toothboss in the 1980s as a dental assistant. She returned a few years ago as a hygienist. A graduate of Cape Cod Community College, Donna is an experienced hygienist. A lifelong Weymouth resident, Donna is active in her church, St. Francis Xavier, as a volunteer and eucharistic minister. She and her fiance Mike enjoy their summers living on their boat. In her spare time, she also enjoys the beach, tennis and reading.

Deb received her hygienist training at Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists in Boston, MA and also earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University in School and Community Health Education. She has worked as a dental hygienist for 33 years.

A native of Long Island, New York, she resides in Kingston, MA with her husband Michael and their two adult sons, Nicholas and Christian. Over the years, Burzycki has been involved in local fundraising activities for various school and sports organizations and is still very active in Kingston Youth Sports. In her spare time, she enjoys boating, gardening, staying fit, and spending time with friends and family.

Kristen recently started with the Toothboss as our front desk receptionist. Kristen is a local, residing in Weymouth with her husband Matthew and their three children. Shes been a welcome addition to our staff and has the critical task of checking in patients and running them through our new Covid 19 protocol. We have found her to be a very quick learner and is training to augment Beverlys team of paraprofessionals at the front desk. Kristen may be wearing a mask, but you can be assured, she is greeting you with a big smile.
