Dr. Hunt specializes in general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI)and Director of the Triangle Dental Institute, which provides training to dentists all over the country on how to place and restore dental implants. He earned his DDS and BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

In 2007, Dr. Hunt established the Triangle Dental Institute to educate dentists in dental implants and bone grafting. The Institute offers a seven-month continuing education course that includes lectures from the country's leading experts, live surgeries, and hands-on training.

Dr HUNT was great with my wife's tooth removal.The only thing is someone was supposed to have called in a prescription for antibiotics. I went to our pharmacy cvs on tw Alexander morrisville and no prescription had been called in.

This was my initial visit which i scheduled for teeth cleaning and establishing a new Dental Office. I must say , i have never enjoyed a Teeth Cleaning Procedure more than this one with Karen the Hygienist. It was a Blast of funny stories and interaction with my one liners too. Dr Alex Hunt checked my teeth and we discussed my next step of care. His spirits were high as he was waiting on the phone call that his wife was ready to go to the hospital to have their first child. Prayers for the expectant parents. If you are looking for a dentist in the area look no further and book it today. .

Excellent Experience recently at Dr. Hunts dental facility! Always friendly and fast! I recently went to dentist for my 6 month cleaning and met a one of a kind, top notch associate that was Extremely passionate and detailed about her career and is customer focused. Her name is Ryan. If you need your teeth cleaned, leave your current dentist and drive quickly down to his office and schedule a cleaning with her.

Everyone at this practice is great. One of the best things about this practice is that they will see you on short notice if necessary. They identified some emergent dental needed to take care of my dental problem and they did it the same day. Thanks Dr. Hunt and all your great staff.

I have been a patient since 1977. Dr Hunt is an excellent dentist -- his education, training and knowledge are always cutting edge and Actually he conducts in-service training for other dentists. His workmanship is exemplary and always to the highest standard. He is kind and personable and takes the pain literally and figuratively out of going to the dentist. I have had the same hygienist clean my teeth twice yearly at his office for probably 30 years with Dr Hunt inspecting and critiqueing and taking care of any needs quickly and efficiently. In fact I think her thorough cleaning services and suggestions are a big reason my teeth and gums are in such good shape. His office staff is friendly, helpful and capable. I have recommended him to friends and family many times with no reservation whatsoever. His dental practice is the BEST. I feel fortunate to have been able to have him take care of my teeth most of my adult life.

I am so thankful for this superbly talented dentist and his very special team of support professionals. TODAY, I was seen on very short notice to evaluate a suddenly arising issue. It required an immediate extraction and a bone graft. Big job! 'Accomplished! 'While I was there! 'And with minimal discomfort ... attending not only to my comfort there, but also after I returned home. TONIGHT, at 8:30 p.m., I feel great ... no pain. I am so thankful to have discovered Dr. Hunt over a decade ago. He does it all. As meticulously ... and painlessly ... as one could hope. He is the BEST!

Shelby is the hygienist that cleans my teeth. She is so awesome. Extremely happy with the work she does for years ongoing. As a bonus, she is so pleasant and friendly. Dr Hunt is the Wizard of Dentistry. He not only has straightened my teeth, graphed tissue for receded gums, handled crowns, etc. but he also is a renown teacher associated with the UNC School of Dentistry. I would most highly recommend him and his Team.

Awesome dentist. Awesome staff. I love their friendliness, their patience, and their want-to-get-it-right-ness. A family member referred me to him. Check your insurance first though. He might be "out of network" for your insurance providers.
