Dr. Witty attended the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, graduating in June of 2009, following a Bachelor of Science in biology. She began working with her father, Dr. Watkins, at Watkins Family and Cosmetic Dentistry after graduation. In 2012 she purchased the practice and changed the name to Witty Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Witty has continued her education focusing primarily on cosmetic dentistry and making it her personal goal to provide affordable quality dental care to every patient.
In 2010, Dr. Witty married her husband, Tyler. They welcomed their daughter, Danielle, in May of 2013 and their son, Lawson, in June of 2014. In her free time, Dr. Witty loves antiquing, gardening, and enjoying the quiet farm life with her family.
Dr. Watkins graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in May of 1980. After graduating he started his practice in Hazard, KY before opening his second practice in Nicholasville, KY in 2001. Today Dr. Watkins works alongside his daughter, Dr. Witty. As a Dentist , Dr. Watkins strives to provide each patient with the best dentistry possible and treat everyone like family.
Casey began working at Witty Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in July of 2013 after graduating from the Institute of Dental Technology. She also completed her studies in coronal polishing in February of 2015. Casey handles all front office duties, such as billing and payroll, and lends a hand in caring for patientsshe knows that when the front office is running smoothly, the back office will, too. Even though Casey is not related to anyone in the office, she considers our team to be part of her family.
Casey married her husband, Tony, in 2014, and they have two cats named Chloe and Willie and a dog named Pistol. Caseys hobbies include taking Pistol to the dog park, repurposing furniture, and spending time with friends and family.
Ashley has been a member of our team since June of 2009. She attended BCTC, where she earned her Associates in Applied Science/Dental Hygiene. She loves working with her cousin and uncle, Dr. Witty and Dr. Watkins, at Witty Family and Cosmetic Dentistry and works hard to improve patients overall oral health in a comfortable, professional setting. On October 10, 2010, Ashley married her husband David and gained a stepson, Kendrick. The couple also have twin daughters, Morgan and Willow. She spends her free time being a soccer mom, shopping for Matilda Jane and watching Kentucky sports with her family.

Such a lovely office! From start to finish, you will receive the most professional care, and friendliest of staff. I highly recommend this dentistry! My husband is a patient here, and has never felt more comfortable than he has here.

Going to Whittys for treatment was THE WORST medical decision I've ever made. I cant turn back time but I can share/warn others to find another dentistry when dealing with these frauds. A first time mom with a newborn son coming in for dental work being very entrusting of all the women AKA dentists. They advised me I needed about 7 root canals, long story short they then tell me after the fact that they no longer accept my insurance. They left me with no direction or council with what to do next. Thank god my next appointment I arranged by sonny's who was a man replied, I didn't need that degree of work and very motivated to help me get my crowns unlike whittys who left me dazed, damaged and permanently traumatized with several temporarys. I wouldn't take my dog to thoes maniacs, their frauds all of them! Do not go here, go anywhere but. I can share this experience with others to find another dentist.

Dr. Witty and team are awesome! They are very professional, but friendly as well. They are extremely accommodating to work with your schedule. I have never had any bad experiences at all.

Witty Family Dentistry is the best, plain and simple! It is possible to leave the dentist with a smile on your face? I just did! These folks are not only consummate professionals, they're nice people. Everything is explained in detail to the point where I feel like I know exactly what's going on. They never make you feel bad about your teeth, no matter how much work you need. And their prices are reasonable. Best dentists in Nicholasville, I promise you! My family and friends all go to Witty and if I can convince everyone else in this town to go there, I'm going to. Nothing but praise!

I can't even begin to sing enough praises of my visit. We are a military family so we constantly are switching dentists. My overall experience; I hate the dentist, I avoid them like the plague. I do my yearly checkup and am diligent about home care. I have never been to a dentist who didn't inflict more pain that it is worth. All this being said I had a tooth break. I visited another dentist in Brannon Crossing who told me I would need a root canal. Out of pocket cost $600. I sat in that chair and cried, this is not an expense in our budget or most people's. I got approval to get a second opinion and went to Witty. Dr. Witty said she didn't think I would need a root canal. Went in for the service today. Not only did I not need a root canal but it is the first time in 35 years I did not hate the dentist and suffer in pain. Even the shot didn't hurt. Add to this the compassion in this office. I am blown away. I may actually do my every 6 month cleanings. People you should know I am a huge cry baby when it comes to dental work, natural child birth a walk in the park, dental work no way. For me to say this was great is saying a lot. Not to mention paying half what I expected. Thank you Dr. Witty and staff. You are super heroes.
